Really nice hotel well located in midtown north of the downtown, near Buckhead and Georgia Tech. Suites include separate living room, separate bedroom, balcony, bathroom with separate tub and walk-in shower stall with glass door. Closet with ironing board, iron, hair dryer. Wetbar in the living room, fridge, microwave, two big screen TV's one in the bedroom. Desk and chair separate from sitting area in living room. Nice footstools to put feet up. Room service was tasty albeit expensive but it always is everywhere. Fast elevators, parking below is $22 per day, cheaper next door. Wifi is the only negative at this hotel, they charge you $15 per day. This is ridiculous, use your smartphone and set up a hotspot with that, and avoid the $15 fee. They have a small confectionary next to checkin for drinks and snacks only.

If the property management is reading this, please relocate the key kiosks entering and leaving the garage to locations where you don't have to get out of your car to swipe the key. You have them on the curves, particularly the entrance, and you can't get your car close enough to it without scraping your bumper. Please relocate it to the top or bottom of the ramp so that you can get near it without opening your door. Same problem at the exit. There, at the exit, I think you could probably just add an extender to it to project it forward toward the car.

Ice makers on each floor were appreciated. Bed was super soft and very comfortable. Spacious room - really impressed. Best impression I had was the price, under $170 per night, very reasonable for this location in center of the city, and for this level of space and luxury.

Get the Marriott's Rewards Chase VISA credit card, and they will give you rewards points that are transferrable to airline miles at many of the top airlines, not just one. They also give you a free nights stay at one of their lower end hotels (not this one) per year that you keep the card. I stayed at a Courtyard by Marriott for free on mine. If you are an elite member in their Rewards program, you can ask for complimentary late check out up to around 4 pm.

This hotel had a really nice lobby sitting area, chairs could be updated I suppose, looked a little dated, but the bar area looked recently updated and current.

I would highly recommend this hotel, and I will be staying here again.

Room Tip: Choose one at the end of the hallways, I think they are slightly bigger.

Thanks for taking the time to submit such a detailed review! Yes, there is a fee for internet in the rooms but it's complimentary in the lobby and business center. We appreciate the feedback regarding the garage kiosks and are looking in to your suggestion.

I stayed here for business and it was great. Good location, safe and fairly quiet. The hotel seemed pretty full but it wasn't noisy or crowded. Nice bar located downstairs in the lobby as well. I would recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here before, and before this trip, I would give it 4 stars. However, this last visit was different. We were here to visit Georgia Tech, and the location is excellent, just about a 10 minute walk to campus. There is on-site parking, but it's expensive (~$20/night), There is also a cafe in the lobby which has a decent breakfast and serves Starbucks coffee drinks, but it closes fairly early.

The lobby itself is very nice. The staff is very nice, and there are big-screen TVs and places to sit and hang out. I think there is an outdoor pool and seating out back, but we didn't go outside due to the weather.

The rooms are nice - clean and big enough, although there is a lot of furniture in there (couch, tables, desk, closet, etc - and it was really crowded with 2 big suitcases. My biggest complaint comes from the noise. It was a reunion weekend, and the room next door was apparently hosting a huge party. I waited until midnight before calling down to the front desk to complain, but nothing happened. The noise continued until almost 3am, and nobody came by to quiet them down - just really unacceptable. Our friends down the hall didn't hear anything, so I think it was just the rooms next door. If it hadn't been the middle of the night, I would have asked to change rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the highway and in a QUIET part of the hotel!

Room rate looked very attractive for a Marriott but absolutely nothing is included! $22 for parking. $15 per day for wireless internet. $21 per person for breakfast. When they get through dipping into your pocket for things we've all come to expect to be included in the room rate, you've spent another $100.
