I was in Atlanta for an overnight stay and needed a place close to Emory University. Upon arrival, the staff handled all of my requests, i.e, early wake-up call, taxi to the airport, boarding pass kiosk.
The room was comfortable, quiet and nice. There was nothing extraordinary about it however the working area is amble and there was quite a bit room to move about.
Although I travel quite often, this was the first time that the airport taxi driver called me before going to bed to introduce himself and to confirm the set pick up time. It is apparent that the hotel is accustomed to business travelers and look into every detail, including the companies/vendors that they use to make for the best stay.
Great staff plus a nice comfortable stay makes this an excellent choice. Of note, they are located off of a very heavily traveled road so depending on the time of your arrival, there may be some delay exiting off of the highway ramp or, if already traveling on the main road, there may be a delay when making a left turn on to the street so, take heed.

Room Tip: Higher floor away from the elevator

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in March. The hotel is clean, and the lobby has been renovated. The rooms are comfortable, and there is free Wi-Fi internet in the rooms (and a few public computers in the lobby area).

The hotel is near a MARTA station, and they offer a free shuttle service. The hotel also has a good amount of parking. The shuttle parks at the part of the station that is close to a police station.

There is a lobby restaurant that serves a good breakfast, but know that it closes at 10 PM (in case you come back from a late meeting and want a late bite or drink).

The staff was friendly and courteous.

There are restaurants within walking distance (McDonald's, Einstein Bagels, and some casual restaurants).

Room Tip: There are many rooms on the ground floor. Some are pretty close to the lobby, and others are further away.

Wonderful staff anxious to meet your needs. Bistro, high priced food and service excellent. With so many business travelers it would be nice if they would incorporate some type of managers welcome late afternoons as some other places have started.
Linens rough, need to be upgraded.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is not on the HWY 85 side of the hotel if you are a light sleeper. Not a convenient place to stay if you are just visiting the area. Traffic is very heavy most of the time in this area of Atl.

This is a very convenient place if you have business at Emory or the CDC. We spent two nights here and found it very clean, the staff were super friendly and the value was high...especially if you ask for the Emory rate. Nice updates to public spaces. Fitness center isnt great, but few are.
