We got a good deal to stay at the Indigo for a night. We were warmly greeted at the reception and when we checked out. I enjoyed the modern decoration in the lobby.
On first glance, the room looked funky and artsy – different from any hotel room I've ever stayed in in terms of style. However, the room was rather small and not the most functional either. For example, since we intended to wake up early the next morning, we used the alarm clock. It’s on the bottom shelf of the nightstand and the cord is not long enough to put on top. It made it very awkward adjusting the alarm and turning it off in the morning – you have to bend down out of the bed to do this. The tiny bathroom was a bit shabbier than the rest of the room and also organized strangely, with a large bowl-like sink but nowhere really to put soap or personal items.
On the positive side, the bed was comfortable.
The location couldn’t be better either. We were a walk away from a good selection of restaurants and activities and public transit. Midtown Atlanta is a wonderful place and very walk-able. The hotel was also much cheaper than a lot of the others we looked at in the neighbourhood. For the price, location and service, I could stay there again.More
