Dear promuskd from Houston, Texas -
Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words and the great rating. It was our pleasure to have you stay with us. We are indeed in a great location in the middle of 'what's happending' in the city. I am glad you like our coffee. It is a big hit with guests. It's a locally roasted Atlanta favorite, Dancing Goats, and my personal preference in the morning. I look forward to sharing a cup with you when you return. Thanks you staying with us and for taking time to review us as well. Safe travels, Gabriele Webster

The lobby/dining area was gorgeous! Very hip and chic! The rooms were super small! Very cramped. Location is fantastic as it is in the heart of downtown. If you are looking for location and clean rooms, this is a great place. However, if you seek luxury and space, then try somewhere else.

I booked this hotel for a 3 night stay recently with just a bit of hesitation based on some of the reviews here on TA. One thing I've learned about hotel reviews is that no matter how nice the property, there will always be people that find fault with it. Just got back from ATL and this hotel more than met my needs for a great long weekend. I booked it through a third party site and got a fantastic rate of around $114/night including taxes and fees. The rate was so good I thought maybe I'd been scammed! But I called the hotel and, sure enough, they had my reservation and the rate was legit. Parking was an additional $25/night but that's reasonable for the area. There is no valet and parking to unload can be really tight. The small parking deck is just steps from the entrance of the hotel and you can come and go as you please. Upon checking in I figured they would give me whatever room happened to be available, as I did not book directly through the hotel. I asked for a king room with a view of Peachtree street (the front of the hotel) hoping that they might at least honor one of the two requests. To my surprise, they gave me the exact room I asked for! The room was slightly smaller than one might expect, but was plenty big for 1-2 people. It had a large picture window with a good view, a flat screen tv and even a mini fridge. The bed was comfy and aside from a police siren now and then, there was no exterior noise. I will say that the bathroom was TINY. The shower stall (no tub) was actually oversized with plenty of room but the toilet/sink area is minuscule. I didn't spend that much time in there so wasn't a big deal to me. The area is great being just a 7-8 minute walk to the 10th street/Piedmont park area and all it has to offer. The hotel is technically in midtown but not that far from downtown and on the weekends the area can be a little dead unless something is going on at the Fox theatre. Several places to dine within walking distance and a restaurant/bar in the lobby of the hotel. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would definitely return, especially if I could score as great a rate as I did for this trip.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front of the hotel have good city views.

Nothing horrible to report here--just be prepared for what you're getting. Basic hotel with kitschy common areas. No valet. No porter. Very limited luggage cards but one of the managers was great and helped carry our stuff up. Nice lobby bar with very friendly bartenders. Clean rooms but super small baths. As in you can wash your hands while on the toliet and don't think you could possibly get dressed in it. When we checked out it would have been a nice opportunity for the guy behind the desk to say thanks for staying but other than that, everyone was very friendly. Would consider it again if travelling with our dog.

Dear guess2 from Illinois,
Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. Guest feedback helps us improve and address guest needs. Sometimes, during high occupancy times, the luggage carts are in high demand. I am sorry you had trouble finding an available cart. I am glad to hear one of our team members helped you with your luggage, but we will look at adding more carts, especially during busy times. I have already addressed with our team about showing our appreciation and thank our guests. We always want all of our guests to know we appreciate them. Thank you for your business and we are glad you brought your extended four-legged family members also. We look forward to welcoming you back again. Warm regards, Gabriele Webster

The Indigo is a remodel of a very old hotel that is starting to show its age again. The Indigo concept was kind of cool ten years ago, but now the "beach" decor is starting to look dated. This hotel has extremely small rooms, while they are functional they would be very tight for more than one or two people. The bathroom is almost comically small - there are probably larger bathrooms on many cruise ships.

Did not see any "trendy" people in the lobby - mostly just normal business travelers similar to every other hotel. Location is good if you have business in Midtown, but would be a long walk to the convention center or Georgia Dome. Fortunately Uber provides very good service to this area.

The bar is nice, and does have a few food chocies. Nothing special, but if you just want something quick to eat there is no need to go out. If you do go out, there are many restaurants a short cab ride away.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Internet access was slow enough to be unusable. This is unacceptable in a hotel that is primarily used by business travelers. As noted in other reviews, the lack of power outlets is annoying as well. Overall, this hotel is at best fair - the value is OK, but otherwise there are better choices in this area.

Room Tip: The corner king rooms are still tiny, but at least have two big windows and are pleasant.

Hello 43220 from Upper Arlington, Ohio -
Thank you for sharing your review of your recent stay at Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown. We appreciate you staying with us and taking the time to share your experience. Thank you for complimenting our staff for the friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel's new theme of Visual Music, re-designed with the Fox Theatre (across the street) as our inspiration, immerses guests in the soul of the Midtown neighborhood story of how music helped saved the Fabulous Fox from demolition and was the seed for the arts and cultural district that our neighborhood has become over the years. Little known fact: our bed coverings are custom-stitched with the Fox Theatre domes for subtle details that tie into this iconic landmark. We are doing some historical touch ups now and will be enhancing our guest corridors with more "Visual Music" very soon. We look forward to welcoming you back to a great stay soon. Warm regards, Gabriele Webster

The Indigo is OK for a short weekend visit. I would not recommend staying for more than a few nights due to the lack of space and amenities. We upgraded to a King room on the corner. Room was no larger, but did have a nice view of the Fox Theater. King rooms give you a little more room than the double bed rooms, and when space is this limited, every little bit helps. There was a vanity outside the bathroom to store all your stuff. Luckily our room had several power outlets available, including one at the vanity. The hotel is old, and is pet-friendly. Our room did have a very faint wet-dog smell when it rained. I would recommend this hotel is you are going to the Fox Theater, or staying in midtown without a car since there are many nice dining options within walking distance.

Room Tip: Ice machines are out in the open in the hallways, and walls are thin, so you don’t want a room anywh...
