The charm of this hotel was walking up the stairs to the entry way. Beyond that..well...it was clean. The room was smaller than most hotel rooms. The bathroom was very clean and was the highlight of the stay. However, under the old carpet next to the bed there were several spots that felt like the floor would give way when walking. There was noise from what I assume was the pipes in the wall "clanking" all night long...off and on. To add to that, were people above us on the next floor walking back and forth making the ceiling creek at all hours of the night. On both sides of our hotel room we could here 1) a lady on a cell phone 2)dresser drawers being opened and closed 3) Doors in the hallway being slammed. This was all night long! Add to it a bed that resembled a concrete slab and you have the makings of very little sleep. Be warned!
