I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a three days business meeting. When you enter the hotel, it has a quite impressive architecture since all rooms are faced to the atrium - and this is only the main tower. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped; they have a good fitness room and service at these facilities is excellent.
Conference facilities are good, they can easily handle a couple of hundreds of guests. Room were too cold, but that is a general problem in the States.
Location of hotel is good, very central in downtown Atlanta with Coca Cola building, Philips Sport Center and the famous Aquarium in easy walk distance.
For runners: the hotel has a short map for a 5 miles running route; other routes are also possible when searching on the Internet.

Room Tip: If you choose a room in the main tower, expect some noise even after 9.00 p.m. and later; if you wan...

Thanks for staying with us and we're happy you enjoyed your time in Atlanta. As you mentioned we are centrally located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. There are many restaurants, bars and must-see attractions within walking distance of the hotel. Our fitness center is a great amenity available to all guests. The gym features cardio equipment, free weights, weight machines, ample stretch room, plus complimentary fruit and chilled towels. We know business travel can make a healthy lifestyle a little difficult, so we're happy to help with our newly renovated fitness center. Thanks for choosing Hyatt Regency Atlanta and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Atlanta.

Arriving at 11 pm and viewing the outside of the hotel I have to admit I was not overly excited but upon entering the hotel you are welcomed by a beautiful atrium, friendly staff, and very modern guest rooms. The hotel is almost 50 years old but doesn't feel that way at all. Conference support staff provided tasty refreshments and appetizers and were always available to assist when necessary. Clean, comfortable guest rooms. No issues with water flow, climate control, etc.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference so it was definitely a busy place. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are nice comfy and clean. Not fond of the parking situation but it's a must for downtown Atlanta. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. I stayed in the Radius tower which is nice BUT the noise from the street did not grant me a good night's sleep. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again. I know alot of hotels are now doing this and I love the personal touch that they put your name on the TV screen to make you feel welcome and at home. Also you have plenty of dining choices outside of the hotel in walking distance so no need to un-valet your car.

Room Tip: Ask for room that is not close to street side. My room was sort of on a corner where I could see and...

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a conference at the world congress center.
Location was great with lots of nearby places to eat. You can easily walk to the World of Coca Cola and the aquarium.
Room:
I stayed in the circular tower, which gives all the rooms an awkward layouts. The bathroom is really tiny with not much room to even turn around. The toilet tank is not even flush to the back wall.
The bed was average.
Restaurants:
The bar in the lobby had great pub food an snacks. Drinks were a bit overpriced even for a hotel IMO. The breakfast buffet was above average and worth the price.
Gym:
My favorite part of the stay was the gym. Great variety of cardio equipment and weight machines. Free weight dumbells went up to 50lbs. Chilled towels and fruit infused water topped off the experience.
I think I would try another hotel if I return to downtown Atlanta.

Room Tip: I wouldn't reserve a circular tower room( I think its called radaris tower)

We used the Hyatt in downtown Atlanta as a conference site for our national organization for two years. We got loads of great feedback about how incredibly accommodating the service staff were from the check-in staff, to bell/luggage staff, etc. They have staff that do nothing but roam around to find folks to assist. No kidding. The restaurant and club are, as you would expect, very pricey but the menu selection is excellent and the food and staff very good. Beverage and snack service for break times was cost prohibitive for us and so we encouraged our attendees to access the attached Peachtree mall food court which provides a wide array of choices and price ranges as well as a little bit of shopping (not much). For this reason (we did not consume the needed beverage - i.e. alcohol - and food services at a high enough rate), we were limited to the times on the calendar that they would book our group for a conference. For that reason we have chosen to not come a third time. But the conference rate they provided for attendees rooms, the set up staff, the logistics were just remarkable. The sheer number of conference areas under their roof allowed us a lot of flexibility. They could easily handle a conference with 1,000 attendees or more. They are close to many terrific dining options (Max Lagers, etc.) and not far from the Coke museum. They are near MARTA and so it was an attractive location for many reasons.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the less street noise. After all, you are in downtown Atlanta.

Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel. It's always wonderful to hear feedback from repetitive groups. Having loyal groups and customers is always a blessing and we hope you will consider us every year while planning your event. Our staff is unbelievable and well-managed by top notch team leaders. We want to ensure your event is flawless and so our team is ready to bend over backwards to make you and your attendees comfortable and appreciated throughout the conference. We are here to make you look good! As you mentioned, we are located next to Peachtree Center Mall (via an enclosed skybridge) which offers a food court-styled area of restaurants and snacks. We are also connected to the MARTA station, which makes travel for attendees flying in more convenient. The train is $2.50 per ride and it takes a short 17 minutes to arrive to the hotel from the airport. It's a great convenience! Our hotel features 180,000 square feet of meeting space allowing you to have ample opportunities to plan your event. We hope to see you in the coming years!

It's big, it's convenient, it's modern, and it's 22 stories of what otherwise might be called a boutique or designer hotel. The interior is a work of Art and the inside/outside elevators are fun to look at and ride. The rooms are very modernist and clean. It is also part of a large convention center, connected to a MARTA stop and right next to a mall. In short, everything you could want in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The only issue for me was that the size, the crowds, and the automation of check in and out without a human touch frankly left me a little cold. The rooms were the same way--nice, but awkward in design that felt cramped--the bathrooms seemed small for such a large place and space wasn't optimized in my room. The other downside is that everything in the hotel was expensive and the in-hotel dining options were significantly overpriced. I wouldn't eat in the hotel with so many other options all within a block or two. Free wifi only in the lobby and bar areas seemed a bit skimpy for a hotel of this stature and cost as well. The fitness center is nice and well appointed, but small also for the capacity of the hotel and was crowded on the morning I visited. Parking is very expensive--with your choice being either valet at $32 a day or some mysterious off property lot. The flow of checking in on the top floor and out through the lower levels kept some of the clutter with card and valets down to a minimum. Other than at check-in, employees went out of their way to be friendly and were happy to answer questions or provide service. Overall, it's a good choice to stay, but if you don't like crowds, this can be a little overwhelming.

Thanks for staying with us and we're glad you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful, historic hotel. Built in 1967, our hotel was a sight to see and it continues to be one today. We love when our guests appreciate the design and concept behind our hotel. Our hotel hosts various types of guest rooms, as well as, meeting spaces. The variety allows our guests, whether on business or a conference attendee, to feel comfortable and to have all their needs met. The staff is friendly and always there with a smile and a helping hand. We are located next to Peachtree Center Mall (via enclosed skybridge) allowing guests to venture to various food spots and the MARTA train station. Though we are surrounded by many great restaurants, the hotel does offer three -soon to be 4- dining outlets. These are especially great for guests who are on a time schedule and aren't able to explore the city during their time with us. We hope to see you again and thank you for your review and time with us!

I really didn't like my entire experience at this hotel. Rooms are small, the decor of the hotel is dated and the food choices in the restaurants are lacking. I give it a 3 rating compared to all hotels but it is far from your best choice in this city.
