The atrium was spectacular, check-in without incident and they had iced water available (in Atlanta in June, this is a MUST!). As is true of "high-end" hotels, there is a charge for EVERYTHING, it seems - in room WiFI (it was free in the lobby areas), etc.. The location was close to many things to do, the restaurants nearby are handy and not as expensive as those in the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, my stay was "average" for the kind of hotel the Regency aspires to be.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing Olympic Park.

We spent 8 nights at the Regency and had a wonderful stay. What stands out is the attentiveness of the entire staff. We were part of a large group with about 800 rooms during the week. The Regency was well equipped to accommodate all of our needs. I would highly recommend them for large events.

As mentioned the highlight is the staff. Everyone exemplified professionalism. The Regency is in the heart of downtown Atlanta directly on Peachtree St. It provided a couple of onsite restaurants as well easy access to number of other options downtown.

We upgraded our room to include Regency Club which was well worth it. The RC included light breakfast and snacks throughout the day.

The hotel itself is from the 1960’s but has been remodeled and is very modern.
The only disadvantage to the downtown location is the parking which was a little expensive.

Due to it's location I would also recommend this hotel for downtown Atlanta site seeing. It was an easy walk to Coke and the Aquarium.

Given the large number of rooms check in and check out were seamless.

Room Tip: Upgrade to the Regency Club to get extra included breakfast. Higher rooms are quieter due to the lar...

Thanks for staying with us and it's wonderful to hear that your trip was memorable and enjoyed. Our hotel is great at managing singular guests, as well as large convention groups. Our skilled staff knows how to manage whatever situations come their way -and they do so with a smile on their face. They truly are a fantastic asset to the property. You upgraded to enjoy Regency Club access, which is a wonderful amenity the hotel offers. The private club provides complimentary Wi-Fi, extra space to lounge around, complimentary drinks and snacks, plus a great attendant on-hand to assist with any needs. We are located in the heart of downtown, surrounded by many must-see attractions, including the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, the new Center for Civil and Human Rights, CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park, plus sports/concert venues. We love our neighborhood and so do our guests! We hope you will choose Hyatt Regency Atlanta on your next trip to Atlanta, whether as a convention attendee or tourist. See you soon!

Stayed here for the recent ISTE Conference. The rooms were compact but very clean. Fresh toiletries including toothpaste were supplied daily. For those technical people, this room was very up to date with the latest gadgets and USB plug-ins. Free WI-FI made it even better. Room service was wonderful but the add on pricing was outrageous. One salad, a glass of tea, and a pc of cake totaled $45.00. The Market downstairs is a better value but I wouldn't recommend the prepared foods. I tried the turkey wrap-- not sure how long it had been in the case. This hotel is a long walk from the convention center and there are not many places to eat outside the hotel. There is; however, a Corner Bakery right across the street that had good food. There's also a bar and a hotel restaurant in the hotel. Also, if you are traveling at a government rate, you will not get the tax exemption that you get in other states, if you do not bring a company credit card to pay with. You can't pay with a personal card even if you have a state ID. I have never heard of that rule applying outside this hotel. I will have to say that the Concierge/Doorman at the hotel went out of their way to help-- getting taxis, making sure you got on the right bus--- Overall, I rate this was a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

Thanks for staying with us! It's wonderful to hear your stay was comfortable and enjoyable. After our recent $65 million renovation, we wanted to ensure our guests had all the technology access they needed, and that started with having ample outlets and plug-ins available at arm’s reach. Glad you recognized this! Our hotel offers 5 different dining options: Sway, signature restaurant; Twenty-Two Storys, lobby bar; Market, 24-hour coffee shop + snacks; Polaris, rotating rooftop restaurant; In Room Dining. The hotel is also connected to Peachtree Center Mall, which provides ample food court options. We are located on famed Peachtree Street, which offers multiple attractions and restaurants. We're glad our Concierge team could make your stay convenient and reliable. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Atlanta.

I am incredibly frustrated with them as I booked this hotel because it says they have a spa, and after a long day of business meetings I want a massage. HOWEVER< they actually do not have it running yet! They cannot decide who should run it. In the meantime, they have customers booking with the intention to use a spa they don't have.

We apologize your stay did not meet your expectations. As you discovered, our property does not hosts a spa on the property. We do offer an outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center and there are spas near the hotel. We apologize for this inconvenience, but hope you will continue to stay with us when you visit Atlanta.

We stayed here for one night on our way up to North Carolina. The location of this Hyatt is very central and is walking distance to restaurants downtown, Olympic Park, and the Georgia Tech neighborhood. Although we arrived at noon, the friendly staff checked us in and we were in our room 3 hours before the check-in time. We booked a compact room with a queen sized bed but were given a spacious room with a king sized bed with a nice city view. The room was clean, dry (we stayed in a very humid room in NC), and bed was very comfortable. We had a drink at Twenty-two Storys bar, and wished we knew about this restaurant sooner because the menu looked good and the prices were pretty decent compared with other restaurants in the area.

The valet parking (mandatory if parking at the hotel) is a little bit expensive at $32 and free wireless internet would have been nice but overall, we are very happy with our stay here and would come back again if we're ever in Atlanta.

Thanks for staying with us as you passed on through the city. Though we had you for only one night, it's wonderful to hear how positive your review of our property was. We are located in a wonderful neighborhood with many restaurants, bars and attractions within walking distance. Even closer restaurants are located in our lobby, including our lobby bar Twenty-Two Storys. With a beer-forward menu and local, craft beers available on tap there's no need to even leave the hotel. We hope you will visit us again, soon, and give Twenty-Two Storys a try (we recommend the pretzels -best in town). You also mentioned your room accommodations were ideal, and we're glad our Front Desk Agents could assist you at check-in and check-out. We hope to see you again, soon!

The overall hotel appearance and location are great. The room I stayed in was large and very modern and clean. The bed was horrible, it was not comfortable and made a noise with every small move. There was a constant ticking noise in the wall, all night for the three nights that I stayed. There was a food court and plenty of restaurants located nearby. The main attractions were within walking distance. My kids enjoyed the pool and the super fast elevators.

Room Tip: The suites are very large.

I am staying here for a convention and the service is great. The rooms are a nice size and clean. The bathroom is clean and we'll stocked. I will stay here again when in the area. The lobby is nice and open and attached to a mall. Easy access to attractions and shopping and restaurants.
