We stayed at this hotel when went to an event at the Philips Arena. We walked to the event at night. The building was tricky for us to find, the sign is only in the front and to would have helped if a sign was on the side. We stopped at the traffic light twice and did not know we at the destination.( with one way streets, you have to be careful if you do not know the area. The parking is in the hotel basement and we did have to pay to park there. The hotel was uner constrution during our stay and it was cold and sometimes windy so we walked quickly to the elevator, therefore we did not pay much attention to the outside. I am sure that the outside common area would be nice in the spring and summer.

I...LOVED this review...excellent helpful comments...and the heading was really "classy".

Okay...so why the accolades.....

1...Finding our hotel... is tricky....most downtown hotels too....
one way streets drive me nuts.

2...Your suggestion we add our hotel name on the back of the building...
don't know why we hadn't....didn't....will discuss with owners.

3...You walked...walked around downtown...
your walked....all the way over to Phillips Arena...
a walk...that takes you right through Centeniall park...how great is that ...
and..,you went to see...Bon Jovi in conert....even better

4....I read all of your reviews....well balanced....fair...you...are a good reviewer.

As for your comment on the...what appeared to be "under construction"..
well
no construction...as we opened as new....only 22 months ago...
but...
was a..."retro-fit"....with our installing.....the newest freguency controlled...
door locks... no more insert....just wave/tap the lock and you alone are in.

Security is really important to all of the hotels in Atlanta...
and so...along with the inside parking lot were your car was safe....
and....
our using the same outside Security service the... W hotel uses...
as do...most of the major hotels in Atlanta.

Yes...those last two comments...on security
were....a veiled "attempt"...at my highlighting....
we have... good/reasonable security...."sorry" for the self-serving plug.

Thanks

More a motel than a hotel, there's a feeling that there needs to be security. Also, could be cleaner. And no room service and the fitness Ctr is a closet. . Having said this, if you're getting it at a great price it may be a value to you.

Reading your reviews.... I saw that you stay at the finest hotels... and enjoy the best restaurants...
some of those restaurants...
I personally know...and agree they are remarkable.

For that reason...
I appreciate...that you chose us...and gave us a try.

I feel bad....that you found us not that great...for what you paid.

I would like to...."save the day"....REDEEM ourselves... in your eyes..
just as...

we were able to do...
with the reviewer just before your review...

Turns out...
her two daughters...her twin daughters...
were....only two years old...
so....they have no clue as to who Taylor Swift.

MOM however...did...
does...and is a fan...
so....
whereas...she stated...."Will NEVER stay again...

she...
contacted me on my e-mail....we agreed to.....get back together...

and...
she is returning....in May....
to celebrate...her and her husbands Anniversary...

As for how to "win you back"...
Honestly... I don't know.....how....yet...

My family booked this hotel for our twin daughters' birthday getaway. Upon arrival, I was very dissapointed all rooms faced outside. We checked in and settled in our room. While I was in the shower, I turned around and there was hair stuck on the wall...dry, not wet hair! Then when I pulled back the bed covers...Hair...I pulled up the sheet and guess what MORE HAIR! By this time I was furious! I went to the front desk to complain. She took a % off the price of our room and moved us. She proceeded to make an excuse by saying "I know there's NO excuse BUT someone with a dog could have been in that room." 1. The hair in the shower was up high at face level not down low. 2. The room should have been CLEAN. The best thing about this stay was the breakfast attendant, Ms. Yvonne. She was very nice and sympathic when I told her what happened. Eventhough the new room was presentable, we WILL NOT be staying at this location ever again.

Second...Joelle....my Assistant has credited... your entire stay.

We were looking for a great location and value and good reviews. Well they were very nice to us during the whole stay and even accommodated us at checkout. We had a delima of wether to walk to the aquarium or take our vehicle loaded with all our stuff and try to find parking. They recommend leaving our vehicle in the garage for the day and then just come later and get it. That was a great help. Thank you! The breakfast was great! As others stated they are very helpful and accommodating. We would stay again if we had a chance. I hope this helps anyone.

So I read your review...and was taken aback ...in a good way... that Jamilla did great.

At the risk of my making a self serving comment about our location....
that will read as a commercial...
we are really...close to the attractions...actually and truthfully...
within walking distance. (two blocks)

I called Joelle my AGM...
and asked... if we had really told you...after you checked out...
to leave your car...for the day...and go enjoy the Aquarium.

Joelle told me...we always tell and offer our guests that as courtesy...
and to make their stay more enjoyable.

As much as I do know about my operation...
I still find...
that there are many things... I do not know...
this was one of them...and it was nice to read....thank you.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel. We were both very impressed with how clean it was. The staff was also very professional and friendly. We felt like they genuinely cared that we had an enjoyable stay. Their attention to detail was impressive. We enjoyed having such a modern-looking hotel for such a great rate. I highly recommend this hotel.

I am really glad...that you and your girlfriend chose us...and had a good stay.

That stated... while thrilled to get a 5... I did notice that the image used...
to the left...
was exactly the same as....John Y from Atlanta...in the review below...
a skier.

SO...I...did not know what to make of that... and my thrill diminished.

Joelle my Assistant was quick to point out...that while...an odd coincidence...
coincidence nonetheless it was...

and....since I still...resisted..."buying into that"...
she....
showed me...two other reviews we had...where...the image was of bulls.

one from... a Sandy N....from Griffin, GA............. 01/31/13
one from..... Josephine M...from Townville, PA.... 12/21/12

I never used to consider myself paranoid...or a conspiracy theorists...
but...
I take our reviews really seriously and want our guests to be satisfied...
so perhaps...
I can ....have to...admit being guilty of....being overly obsessive.

I will work on that...

in the meantime....thank you and hope your relationship...develops...
into something really good for both of you...

I arrived at 1:15am after a stressful travel in the rain.
The hotel had impeccable bedside manner...From check in to check out...The staff was just thorough.Professional..very warm and sincere...we felt like we were at grandmas...the lobby restroom had fresh cut flowers that brighten anyones day..the entire staff was very accomodating and offered umbrellas to keep us dry.Complimentary breakfast was scrumptious...tazo tea and honey for me.Good soap, lotion and conditioners, nice alarm clock,etc.etc.etc... all of these things worked for me..
Need I say more??I plan to return...

"We felt like we were at Grandmas".... grandmas house .... okay...we have a grandma.

Yvonne Jobson...is a grandma...and our Front Office Manager...
and yes...now that you point it out...to me...
she is the very essence of...the nuturing and love that you get at grandmas house.

She treats everyone...including me...like family...
but...
I...haven't always...responded to her as I should...
my excuse...reason...honestly is...
that I am always..."processing numbers"...
looking at financials...worried about stable / consistent cash flow...blah blah blah.

Yvonne...and Joelle my Assistant...are good people...
and...
good people...surround themselves with good people...
and take care of them.

Thank you for...making that grandma comment...I will do better...
in looking at what really matters... those surrounding me...
