I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and everyday was greeted with amazing service. Everyone greeted us by name and assisted us with the things we needed. I was especially impressed by their front desk associate Lawrence who assisted us during checkout and even gave us information about the city, even directed us to a car wash where we could wash our car after our long drive. I highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Atlanta!

Very friendly front desk staff. Rooms are large and clean. Fitness center is good. The breakfast lacked variety and service. Came down at 9am for breakfast. Most items were gone and staff did not attempt to restock. All that was available was yogurt, a little cereal with no milk. Two pieces of stale toast and a green banana. Breakfast ended at 9:30 but obviously it ended at 8:30 for the staff. Worst of any country inn I've stayed at.

I was not expecting anything extraordinary when I arrived to Country Inn & Suites but I got even less than expected. The property is next to a major roadway so although it is in a decent neighborhood, it feels like you are staying at an airport hotel. What I was not informed about during my booking, was that the hotel had been sold to become a Holiday Inn Express the day after I checked in. If I would have known this, I would never have booked this hotel. Service went from pleasant to mediocre at best and the fast food style of amenities and services of the Holiday Inn line of hotels were implemented immediately. Construction workers roamed the hallways and were drilling outside my window late into the evening hours. I complained to the front desk several times before they finally stopped. The breakfast was/is terrible. It is one of those things that is better left without as it all tastes like plastic. Again, it is not necessarily a horrible hotel, just not good enough for the price and star range. The rooms are of decent size and clean enough but had I known it was going to turn into a Holiday Inn Express, I would not have stayed here.

I recently stayed here for four nights while attending a seminar. I needed an option that was both reasonably close to MARTA and not $250+ a night.

This hotel was ok, but not nearly as nice as other franchised hotels in this price range.

As others noted, the room was very small and the bathroom smaller, and it would have felt cramped with even two people staying in the room. When I first got there, the carpet was soaking wet (maybe they had used a steam vac?) and it took two days to dry out. One other peculiarity was that sometimes the whole room would shake for 10+ minutes. I am inclined to think that there was an industrial washer or dryer in the vicinity, but I'm not sure.

Complaints aside, there were other features of the hotel that were very convenient. There were enough outlets (this isn't always the case in other hotel rooms), the free breakfast was nice, and the hotel is across the street from a Target and a QuikTrip in case you need a snack or drink.
