We stayed here for a week with our 3 boys (5,9 and 9) whilst we skied at half term. The apartment was easy to find, the communication with the owner was good beforehand. It was perfectly located right next to the Parador chairlift and on the same level as the front door making it easy to get the kids up and out in the mornings. The sleeping arrangements worked well. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and the option of using the pool downstairs was excellent. A shame the sauna was broken but we made the most of the pool and the Jacuzzi. It's quite special sitting looking at the skiers on the chairlift from a hot Jacuzzi. The garage was really useful as parking is very limited on the street. I particularly liked the coffee machine so I could my morning fix. We hope to return next time we ski in Sierra Nevada.

Our family of 5 (3 young children) spent a ski weekend in this lovely apartment. The apartment is nicely appointed with comfortable and practical furniture. The beds are comfortable, including the pull out sofa. There are bunk beds with a trundle bed in the "second bedroom," which is really a large entry room that is curtained off to provide privacy - it works perfectly well for children, but perhaps not for a couple wanting more privacy. There is plenty of storage in the unit, in addition to a ski locker on the second floor. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary items for preparing meals - no oven, but does have stovetop and microwave. My only complaint about the kitchen is the lack of a spatula and that we couldn't use the toaster because it kept tripping off the power. There's no bathtub, but the shower is nice and there is a washer/dryer in the bathroom, which is convenient for families with young children. Heaters in the unit worked well and there are plenty of blankets to keep comfy. There is a pool in the building with hottub, which was a great distraction for my young kids. There is a 5 euro entrance fee to the pool though, even for folks residing in the building. Indoor parking in the building was included in our rental. Given the limited street parking, the availability of parking was very important to us. The parking space was large enough to accomodate our SUV. We had to maneuver the car carefully through the garage, but it worked out fine. The location of the apartment in the zona media was perfect for us. The building is right next to the Parador ski lift, which can be used until 5:30 pm by pedestrians for a fee and skiiers with lift tickets to access the lower base, where most of the restaurants, nightlife, and rental shops are located on the plaza and where the gondolas are located as well. At night, the ski lift is closed, so one has to climb up and down a series of steep stairs to access the main plaza. Fortunately, there are a few restaurants, rental shops, and a small market immediately nearby, including the family friendly Tito Luigis, where we dined twice with our kids. Since we were not looking to have a busy nightlife and wanted to stay in a quieter location, this unit worked perfectly well for us. I would definitely recommend this apartment to families traveling with young children. We hope to return soon!
