Service was good: we sent one plate back, and got something else. The fish served was nothing special though.

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the lady we were staying with and were not disappointed. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but it's a lovely, rustic restaurant run by a very friendly and knowledgeable host. Food was so good, definitely recommend the green beans starter if they have it!

The décor was amazing - the hostess didn't speak much English but was very friendly explaining the vegetables were grown on site. We were staying in Monachil but I would recommend travelling from Granada or nearby for this special experience! We ate beans with egg and ham for starter (shared) and the fish was amazing. Beautifully presented!

We stumbled on this restaurant after talking to some locals in pigeon Spanish and getting a recommendation. All I can say is that the hospitality, location (a pretty courtyard dining area) and food were just amazing.
Our host kindly explained that the veggies are organically grown in her garden and the steak came from just up the mountain. She was also incredibly generous with all the food and little extra tapas that we got too.
We had fresh anchovies (lovely free tapas), T-bone steak (highly recommended), salted cod and beans with egg and ham and tirimisu - all were superb.

The whole meal was incredibly reasonable too at around 30 euros each incl wine!

We only felt bad that we had to leave in such a rush to catch the last bus back to Granada.

Highly recommended.
