This is a nice hotel in a good position overlooking the Castillo of Lanjaron.
Lanjaron is a pleasant town and is typically Spanish with not many tourists in the town.
There is a "Ruta de Pilares" which is a route taking in all the 23 fountains in the town. We did this which is quite a challenge, some of the fountains take a bit of finding.
This is a nice traditional Spanish hotel with lovely tiled public rooms. Our room was large enough with a balcony overlooking the Castillo. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was quite large with a good sized bath and nice clean towels. Wifi in the room was very good.
No English is spoken here but any staff that we came into contact with were so pleasant and helpful. There is a bar in the hotel but it does seem very underused. There was no breakfast offered here but there was a nice cafe about one hundred metres away which did nice café con leche and tostada so that was good.
This really is a lovely hotel and was excellent value for money and we really enjoyed our stay here.
