Ok guys this cave house is just amazing and I mean amazing. For 40 euro a night 2 yes 2 of you can get B&B in the Spanish countryside
A separate cave upstairs with a private shower room and patio area and views yes views is yours all yours for your stay . The weather was on our side and stayed blue sky's and sunshine which ment it was hot but the cave stayed at 20 degrees regardless of the sun outside
Ideal place to use as a base and explore mainland Spain . Granada is under an hour away and the cost is 1 hour 15 plus you can go ski in winter from this location and that's also 1 hour . I'm booking back in for next year for a week and going to explore more of the area and enjoy my stay in this beautiful cave .
This has to be one of the loveliest places I've stayed in. Clive and Allan made my stay so memorable. They were friendly and knowledgeable, helping me out with my stay and where to go. The breakfast was beautiful, and such a peaceful nights sleep! Cant recommend this place enough, and such good value for money.
Went for a week away on my own for a bit of down time the beautiful cave of dreams is like a little retreat with stunning views, close to so many fabulous locations including the lake nearby which took my breath away. I woke every morning and had coffee on the terrace feeling so peaceful and rested. Allan and Clive are the most amazing hosts as are very knowledge about the local area what to see and do etc... I will 100% be booking again cannot recommend the cave of dreams enough xx
A hidden place in the Altiplano Granadino, close to Baza, where to spend a quiet and relaxing journey just enyoing. Phantastic breakfast.
The caves of dreams made a fabulous base to explore this part of Spain. We stayed for a week but would have loved to stay longer. The cave house is so different but beautifully appointed and comfortable. Clive and Allan made us feel very welcome providing excellent facilities and superb breakfasts every morningw with something for everyone's tastes. The town of Baza is only a short drive away and is a traditional Spanish town, with a well stocked market full of fruit and local produce. We will definitely be returning as we loved the relaxed atmosphere and pace of life and still have plenty more local sites to see.
Clive and Allan are the most amazing hosts, and the accommodations are wonderful. Such a unique and comfortable place, a beautiful, tranquil, rural setting, yet close to town and sites. We've been pampered with great conversation, wonderful food, excellent advice on where to visit, eat, etc. Absolutely the most comfortable bed since arriving in Spain. A perfect place for people open to new adventures, not looking for a cookie cutter 5 star.
We visited in February for our Anniversary and loved it so much we re-booked for Easter. The hosts are simply an encyclopaedia of knowledge about the local area and further afield. We wanted to return as there is so much to see and do that we couldn't squeeze into the 1st trip.
Allan & Clive gave us so many ideas for our visit. The weather was already beautifully warm and we did everything from swimming to visiting historic towns to walking in the Sierra de Baza.
We had our own serene little cave, very romantic and cosy. We had a relatively cheap break and that's another reason why we've been able to visit twice. I would say it's an area with something for everyone and of all walking abilities too. The cave, the hospitality, the range of things to do make this holiday uniquely desirable. We will visit again!
