“Delightful cave house, spectacular location with welcoming hosts”

This enchanting cave house was a wonderful place to stay with its exotic interior decorations and delightful shaded garden where we could sit, eat, read and enjoy a cooling drink. The roof terrace provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding plains and mountains. The house was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed. The interesting parts of Baza town are within a short walk of the house. Driving in the area was easy, with very little traffic and well signposted roads. Spectacular scenery in the surrounding area, nearby lake to swim in and larger towns like Granada within striking distance make this a perfect location for exploring this part of Spain.
Hosts Malutka and Colin were very welcoming and went out of their to help ensure our holiday was enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend this house and we will certainly consider visiting again.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. Your stay here was an absolute pleasure for us and should we be fortunate enough to welcome you once aggain, in the future, we would be truly delighted.

We do try very hard to deliver what we promise in our advertising, so when we receive reviews like yours, it really brings a smile to our faces and encourages us to continue improving on and adding to what we offer. You may be pleased to know that we noted your enthusiasm regarding the "bath tub" idea and will be installing the largest one we can find on the upper roof terrace ready for next Summer.

“An enchanting, cool and imaginative cave house with a sense of fun - for travellers with a soul.”

Stepping inside the gates of the garden we felt instantly at home. The cave house is a feast for the senses, scrupulously clean and brilliantly equipped for either a fun family holiday or a romantic retreat. Our teenaged daughters loved it. The hosts are exceptionally kind, talented and interesting people who enhanced our holiday no end. The furnishings and ornaments inside are fascinating - and looking at everything is a treat in itself. We have never been happier with our accommodation. I defy anyone with a sense of fun, a passion for collecting and who is looking for accommodation out of the ordinary not to like the cave house. In addition it always provided a pleasantly cool refuge from the high summer temperatures. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and driving round the mountains a must. The town of Baza has much to recommend it but travellers must be prepared to attempt to speak some Spanish as English isn't much spoken - but then why should it be? A fabulous and fun family holiday! Thank you to our hosts Malutka and Colin for making us so welcome in the Cave House of Dreams.
