“Beautiful Building Going To Waste”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

This gorgeous Moorish style building and it's lovely garden are a testament to why Spain is in an economic crisis with record levels of unemployment. A country so full of riches, but the residents don't know how to sell it. The tourist offices in Andalucia are a case and point. This one is one of the most beautiful but it has very limited information and you get the sensation that the person who attends to you is only interested in recording the numbers data regarding where you come from. What a tragedy. Even if the local businesses aren't motivated to pay to be in a local guide, you would think the tourist office - as a duty to tourists and local businesses - would provide full listings/recommendations/details of where to eat/drink/socialise/swim/sail/paraglide etc. Sadly, the tourist office is just a beautiful building that isn't utilised as well as it could be in terms of the service it provides for tourists, or the beautiful setting it provides to host local events/concerts/weddings whatever. A tragic waste of a beautiful possibility.

“Limited Information”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

In addition to the language barrier which highlighted my poor Spanish, there was very little information relating to the area and its attractions. There were, for example, flyers advertising a wild-west theme park, but this had no details of how to visit it via public transport, opening hours, entrance fees, and so on. There were no details regarding day trips to local attractions such as the city of Granada or to the Sierra Nevada, etc. I had a fantastic stay, but I would've liked to see more of this beautiful region. This could easily be achieved by updating the existing website and making it much more up-to-date, comprehensive and user friendly. The information centre was barely open and I realise that longer opening hours would be expensive, but a better website might address what is currently lacking. Nice building and gardens though.

“Tranquil place to sit and think”
Reviewed 12 April 2014 via mobile

The Moroccan type gardens and features are lovely and add to the ambience of the place. The architecture is typical Moorish and a nice little find away from the beach

“In a beautiful building”
Reviewed 12 February 2014

Found this Tourist information to be very helpful and friendly. It was pleasant to walk round the small garden attached to the building.
