“Great fun”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

Best if you can sit outside and watch the Spanish enjoying themselves out with their family at the weekends. Children running around might not suit everyone but you can always sit inside. Menu is large with excellent choices, all very reasonably priced. The fried aubergine with honey is delicious (sounds horrible but try it). Waiters speak English.

“Authentic Spanish Food”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

Excellent place to visit for authentic Spanish food, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Can get quite busy outside, but inside is also very nice.

“Great Value, Great Food, Great Service”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

After a walk around the town to explore and gain our bearings hunger was starting to call. We came across this restaurant and looked at the menu, then decided to try based on the variety (I was looking for something with vegetables!). As soon as we sat down we were served by a very pleasant man (turned out to be the owner) who brought us a plate of tapas complimentary. My partner chose Paella (hoping to have a good one after 2 poor dishes elsewhere) & I had a steak. We were both impressed with the starter (a Tuna salad - enough for 2) and the Paella was excellent, while the Steak was tasty & good. We were only in Almunecar for 2 days but had we been longer we would definately have returned! It was a popular place to eat so don't be surprised if you have to wait to eat, and another recommendation was that the Spanish were eating there!

“Great value for money”

We enjoyed a large, grilled seafood platter here (see pic). Service was friendly, efficient and we were give a delicious chupito at the end of our meal!

“Nice for some Tapas”
Reviewed 3 August 2013

We came here after reading the TA reviews. However once we looked at the menu we found we didn't really fancy anything from the main courses. Instead we opted to order a few tapas style starters and it was very nice. I don't think we would come back as the food didn't look amazing to us and the restaurant wasn't that nice inside. For example the toilets were not very clean.

Worth having a drink here and a little tapas though.
