“Lovely apartment, spacious and spotlessly clean.”
Reviewed 11 October 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We were very impressed with the standard and cleanliness of the apartment. It is very well equipped and for the first time we did not have to purchase anything at all to improve our stay.

The sea view from the balcony is just amazing!!!

Francisco was always helpful during our communications and was very prompt to greet us on our arrival. The garage was a huge bonus even though it was a little way from the apartment.

The apartment is close to amenities, i.e shops , bars and restaurants. The paseo is a lovely walk and you can walk into town quite easily, or in the other direction to Taramay..

The town is lovely and there are many interesting sites to visit, including a castle.

We were there for five weeks and all in all, we had a super time and would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to anyone.

“Big luxurious flat with sea view for up 6 people”
Reviewed 26 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

In fact, this apartment is as listed on the web. The apartment is very large, very nicely furnished and very well stocked with everything that you would need. This is one of the best apartments that we stayed in that had everything that you could possible need to prepare meals etc. The view from the balcony and main bedroom is awesome! In fact, after arriving, we ditched our plans for more sightseeing and spent our time enjoying meals and drinks on the balcony, swimming in the sea which is just steps from the apartment and walking the boardwalk that extends past Almunecar. We really liked the area - there were shops and restaurants close by. There is a garage provided which is a great asset as there is not always street parking. After the first day, we just left the car in the parking spot and walked everywhere. As promised, there are bikes and a inflatable boat though we did not use them this time. Paco was a wonderful host - he was very prompt in getting back to us by e-mail right from the start and all the way through. If you have any questions, he will get back to you almost immediately. There is also good wi-fi in the apartment a great range of international tv channels. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and Almunecar and would definitely come back to both.

“Dont trust owner if he offers you a deal.”
Reviewed 2 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

There is nothing wrong with the apartment is as it says big and spacious. But the trouble I had was because I had to change dates because my son was in hospital and I had paid 214.40 euros deposit which he said he would honor if I gave him 150 euros on arrival. He then altered the holiday booking screen so that I could go through the booking process again. So I paid another £85.17 (100.50)euros then 4 weeks before we left I paid the balance of £203.39 (240) euros.the total being 554.90 euros with the cost for March on the holiday lettings screen was 715.05 euros. There was a lot of email's between us two weeks before we left as the owner was asking for I lot of money and we both thought we had settled this but on arrival at the apartment the owner demand over 400 euros. We had a big argument and if I had been on my own I would have just left but I had left my disabled son at I bar with all the luggage and I was worried about him. So I gave the owner 400 euros. If I had just rebooked and just lost my original deposit I would have been 24.95 euros better off as I paid 740 euros and at the time of the second booking the apartment was on holiday lettings at 715.05 euros. As I am on a pension and my son lives on a disabled allowance I do not have a lot of money to throw about and feel cheated. A unhappy visitor.

It is for me extremely hard to write this message for different reasons. Above all, I will try to be as respectful as I can about this guest, which is a elderly person. At any time, before, while and after her stay I have done my best to be responsible, understandable and helpful with her. However, luckily the end has been just the opposite my original aims.

Although myy conscience is really peaceful and not worrying about my attitude and working with this guests, I must show some facts to take into consideration:

-My guest´s first booking was some time in October. She argued me that her son was in healthy problems to make a change. I told her that there would be an extra money for the change and new season. She agreed all the time.
- My guest does a new booking for new dates, March the 4th. The site requested her some amount of money for cancelling her booking.
In February she informed me that there is a mistake in the booking date. She justified it by telling that she wasn ´t aware of it , so she got confussed. As a result, with as many changes I have missed possible bookings.
- In a new message she tells me that there is a mistake by her about the dates. She will arrive arrive on the 8th of March instead of the 4th, as it was accepted through the booking. My reply is considerate although I try to make her conscious about all the consequences with her own changes, not anybody else.
-Before her arrival, I sent her a new email with the present economical conditions about staying. She agreed all the time.

- Since She makes me different and permanent proposal and changes in her booking, I decided to send her an emalil close to her arrival. I even sent her copies of the different both personnal and Holidays Inn messages to check if she had really understood or been aware of all the changes. Surprisingly, she was all right.
-At the arrival, she accused me of cheating her again. Patiently I did my best again to explain to her all the process, even showing her all the Holiday Inn and personnal messages in order to make iI clear. Since I was fed up with her changes and mind´s change, I suggested she should be my property with obviously the paid money lback. She didn´t accept it. Even with troubling and upsetting situation I accepted her to stay in my property even though I became really worried about the possible damaging consequences in my flat for her stay.
-While her stay, I sent back new copies of Letting Holidays to unjustify her view.
-After her departure, She gets in touch through a new email in the same sense. My reply was that I had been as respectful and fair as I could with her all the time.
-Now I can see her view. In short, some considerations for an end:

-From the very beginning of the booking process everything about her has been very confussing and full of misunderstandings.
- A lot of changes, always from a victim point of view. However. she hasn´t respected our agreement as all the messages justify.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN ACCEPTING AN OFFER FROM THIS GUEST. Sorry, I have to confess it in spite of her age.

“Perfect location for family holiday”
Reviewed 23 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Francisco met us at the sea front apartment, on the third floor, easily accessed by elevator. Francisco kindly showed us all the workings of the apartment and the garage.

The apartment had everything you could ever need for a family seaside vacation. Kite, buckets, spades, beach chairs and toys, picnic coolers, a floatation device , a kayak and a couple of bicycles stored in the garage.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, roomy, cool and spacious.
You may need to bring your own towels, however bed linen is provided.
The washing machine was a great help. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The view of the sea and coastline from the balcony is spectacular, we were treated to an awesome sunrise each day.

The regular local bus, route #3, stops nearby, goes into town for 1 Euro and takes about 10mins and is a great deal. Taxi is 6Euros one way to town centre.
Almiunecar has a very good bus station with routes including Malaga, Granada.
The popular town of Nerja is only 30mins away.

My family ages 25-70 would be happy to stay here again.
