Like a lot of of the cheaper cafe restaurants in Spain - corners have been cut to keep profits going in these tough times. Some of the food we ate was quite reasonable including some homemade soup. But much of what was coming out of the kitchen was from the freezer to the microwave or deep fat fryer. My partner had a ensalada tropical which turned out to be various pieces of fruit (nice) with a dollop of thousand island dressing on top (not so nice) also as 'Engleesh' we got given nasty stale bread rolls wrapped in plastic our Spanish neighbours at the opposite table received fresh cut bread and some olives. The service was also slow and brusque.
