Go in high season or at the weekend and have the paella you will not be disappointed eating that sitting on the beach looking out to the sea!

I love this place - superb location and easy to park (except August).

Food is good - they make the best tuna salad I have had. I like their Fritura of mixed fish - it's just enough for two if you want a light lunch.

If you order the fish by the kilo expect to get a very expensive piece of fish - best to stick to the raciones like the locals do. Lots of choice of baby squid, mussels, clams, rosada etc all at reasonable prices.

This restaurant address is listed as in Almunecar, but it is in La Herradura.

The food was very good. We had mouthwatering mussels for appetizers - 8 euros per serving and that is plenty for two people. The Paella was good and 12 euros per person ( with a minimum of 2 ordering) Calamari was fresh and delicious @ 8 euros. We had a bottle of whote house wine - 11 euros.

Bread is charged in Spain - don't assume it is free in restaurants, it is not!
4 bread rolls cost us 3.20 euros. Some restaurants ask if you want some, others put it on the table and charge you if you eat it.

This was a great evening down on the beach. Total cost 85 euros for four people.

Typical beachside snack house with good food. Staff are moody , beds are pricy and food is ok. Best place around if you are spending the day on the beach but snacks are better, bstaff nicer if less attentive close by in Isla de Capri. La herradura is gorgeous beach though

The atmosphere is buzzing, the waiters cordial and efficient, the food fresh and beautifully cooked and to top it off the view from this open air beach Restaurant or (Chiringuito) is to die for. It's the first place to eat and despite the fact that there a many excellent restaurants to eat at throughout La Herradura, you could easily spend your holiday going through the menu.
