Tucked away in the corner of a square near the main square, this restaurant is consistently excellent. The chef owner uses good local produce to produce very good quality meals. Favourites include stuffed tomatoes, lamb with rosemary and the cannelloni. Tapas are generous - lomo, stuffed baked potatoes, ham and cheese. Mostly it is the local Spanish who are customers - always a good sign.
Don't be put off by the square itself with can look a bit scruffy. The restaurant is immaculate and there is outside seating, albeit in the atmosphere of the square. This is compensated for by the good food and friendly service.
The square (Plaza Magnolia) is also a bit difficult to find. If you are in the main town square (where the big church is located) you need to locate one of three small enclosed alleyways running through commercial premises. Worth the effort though.
