Location: Cudillero is a gorgeous seaside village, with the houses set out as if it is am amphitheatre. Considering its size, there is a good choice of restaurants. This hotel is a 5 minute downhill walk to the centre and the hill is not steep. There is some parking behind the hotel if you are lucky, but most visitors drop off their bags and park at the port area, where there is lots of free parking. There is a shortcut back from the port through a path by a stream that runs under the mountain and emerges at the back of the hotel.
Room:I think that all of the rooms are on the ground floor. Our room was a good size and although the bathroom was small, it had a large shower. Cleaned daily to a good standard.Well insulated in that we could not here people in rooms either side. Our room was at thee back and quiet.
Service: Booked over the internet and paid a deposit. Prudencio, who runs the hotel does not speak much English, but is helpful and friendly and put up with our poor attempts at Spanish! Free wi-fi which always worked. Hairdryers in bathroom.
Breakfast: Basic breakfast of coffee, juice, toast, jam and cake served until 11
