We stopped off in Concord whilst following the ' Battlefield Road ' and thought the ' cafe ' looked like an attractive place to stop and have our mid -morning break. The atmosphere was good and the surroundings attractive, bigger than it first appeared. We only had coffee, tea and cakes but there was no problem with any of what we ordered and the cakes were very fresh and tasty. We were sat near the window and so it was possible to watch the world go by. The staff were helpful and mad you feel welcome. Well worth a visit if you are visiting Concord.

We've been there a few times now and it's been always packed and good. The BLT avocado sandwich is my favorite. Great choice of desserts too.
The only con is that it's hard to get seated when you are a party of 5 or more. Be aware that brunch ends at noon.

They know how to talk the talk, here. The menu makes mention of using local ingredients, and the charming section about the history of Anderson's Market stresses the long standing ties of this establishment to our community. Sadly, the execution is not strong, though I must say we've only dined there once and would be willing to give them a second chance.

We started our meal with drinks. The bartender was overwhelmed, stressed-out, and perhaps not well suited to this task in terms of personality. There was no tonic water syrup in the dispensing system, so our G & T became a seltzer & T. Dealing with this issue didn't go quite as smoothly as one might have hoped. Then, our medium-rare burgers arrived well done, and the salad featuring local greens was dressed with the worst imaginable premixed glop, straight off the Cisco truck, which pretty much negated any leafy virtues of the local lettuce. The sweet potato fries were great, though. Also, our waitress did the right thing, and brought by dessert "on the house" to make up for the burger gaffe..

All in all, this is a very pleasant place to sit, have a drink, and listen to live musicians (our beer, G & T and two burgers set us back 56 bucks), if a bit pricey. They book talented acts with no cover charge, so this does offset the sting, dollarwise. We hope that the café pays closer attention to food preparation on our next visit.

What a place to enjoy lunch in the historical town of Concord. Despite it being a week day, it was very busy and we got a table by the window. Service was prompt and good. The server, Carlos, was kind and attentive, and on hearing about the food allergies, checked with the kitchen who ensured that the chicken was cooked fresh, with apologizes for the delay. My young spinach salad, was wonderful, but as usual in the USA , a large portion, and I felt that I had been served the whole field of spinach and not just a portion of salad with walnuts and shrimps.
Great atmosphere in a pleasant and unique restaurant in a very interesting town. If the locals go there you know it's worth it. After, walk the lunch off as we did with a trip down the Battle Road. It is a great touch to see where there is a monument to a dead British Solder, you will usually find a Union Jack and some flowers. Try the Concord grape a most pleasant and unusual grape, developed and grown in the area. Thank you Main Streets Market and Cafe.
