“Fun and Yummy if you can find it!”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

We went one morning and plan to go again for lunch. The brioche was light as air and the surroundings were laid back, relaxing, artsy and seriously smart about the food. This was our first Massachusetts dining ecperience as our flight got to Boston at 2am. Everyone is tad too serious and efficient. I'

“were we expecting too much?”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

After hearing about this place on Chronicle and Boston Magazine we searched for and asked directions until we found this adorable place where everything looked delicious. My 3 friends and I agreed if was just "OK". The vegetable strata looked devine but was extremely heavy and overly "dense". Perhaps if it had been warmed it would have been more tasty. The roasted vegetable quiche was better than average and the samples of bread were a nice touch.
Perhaps it was an off day~

“Cute place, yummy food”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Great casual place for coffee (I get chai) and to meet friends for breakfast or lunch, though the seating is limited. At times the parking is limited, too. I guess it's too popular for its own good. But it's really the only place around to special order beautiful cakes and fancy cupcakes for parties! And the breads are wonderful.

“Great outdoor seating and food”
Reviewed 1 May 2014 via mobile

I had a hard time to locate this bakery, it's behind a construction zone in a half empty building and one cannot see it from the road. But it was worth the effort to find it. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and provided mouth watering recommendations. The outdoor seating was superb (see my picture)

The only short coming was that the food did not taste as good as it looks. My apple coffee cake was average, it had hardly any apple taste, it just tasted sweet and dry. The hot chocolate was water based and had a cheap supermarket flavor but had an amazing presentation.

So why I gave this bakery 4 stats? The outdoor seating, the staff and the presentation was five stars (or more) The food taste and texture only three stars (or less).

Come for the atmosphere you would be happy

“Lovely little bakery and sandwich shop”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

Interesting sandwiches, excellent croissants and great service. Went there for breakfast and also to pick up a packed lunch before heading to Walden pond. Worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.
