I guess it's officially a bakery, and you can buy a wide range of fresh breads to take home, but it's also a deli with really good sandwiches and pastries. Better if you can go before or after lunchtime, because there's a funky collection of chairs and tables that fill up fast. (Some outside tables help if the weather permits.)
The hardest part is finding the darned place, because it's hidden behind a nondescript building and there is no signage to speak of. Just keep asking the locals, because it's worth the search.
