2 1/2 star hotels aren't supposed to be mind blowing. You shouldn't feel like you're at the Bellagio. They're supposed to be clean, comfortable and efficient with maybe a little, extra touch. Unfortunately, when booking a 2 or 2 1/2 star, you're lucky if they completely nail even just one of those three expectations.
This is not that case.
Everything that, ideally, a 2 1/2 should be, to our experience, it absolutely was.
Bathroom, clean. Sheets, clean. Pillows, clean. Carpet, clean.
Bed was comfortable. Fancy lamps. Each room has a sliding glass door with a small porch area with two chairs and a small table. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and hooked us up with a room on the side where the porch faces some trees, opposed to the other side where the porches face the parking lot. Regardless, it's still your own porch with chairs.
Oh, and of course, fresh baked cookies at the check-in desk. Respect.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with porches that face the trees instead of the parking lot, if desired.

I've stayed here 1-3 nights, almost monthly since October 2013. I am a light sleeper, so the heating cooling system wakes me up from time to time. But it is a quiet hotel, and traffic to swimming pool stops early enough in evening to get a long good sleep. Pretty quiet place with nice free breakfast room, hot and cold dishes. I even stayed here when the breakfast room was closed for renovation

We found all of the hotels in the Lexington/Cambridge/Boston area to be extremely expensive (during August) and then we found this hotel in Concord and tried it - and we ended up making it our home base for 3 nights. The breakfast was superb - real hot food with protein - and not the "cardboard egg" variety or all carb buffet like most, a nicely appointed and clean room for a very reasonable price, and it wasn't that much further out of the way to drive to the local historical attractions or to park our car at the Alewife station and ride the T into Boston. There's a great Italian restaurant next door too. A great stay with friendly staff - highly recommend!

This is an affordable and convenient hotel that is about 25 minutes from Boston. The breakfast was good but can be improved by adding more varieties. The rooms are pretty clean and the housekeeping staff was good. The front desk staff can use more training on the system and in dealing with customers.

Great value, very clean, they had a full breakfast, place to work out, comfy bed, it is in a safe area (felt ok running outside alone), great location (near enough to downtown). Would definitely stay here again
