Our three-day stay was perfect. Good food - pancakes and sausage, eggs, an array of cereals, granolas, and fruit, and spectacular banana bread, with civilized portions. A suite that felt like home, complete with kitchenette. The Inn's location is perfect - out the door to stroll into town or out to hike in the country. Parking off-street was convenient and close. Pristine care. We enjoyed Heidi, the owner, and Deborah, who made us feel welcome and at home. We will be back many times.

Room Tip: Room 3 is nestled in trees. Room 2 may be a little quieter.

Stayed here with my family for 2 nights in April. The room was very comfortable & it was very nice to have a small kitchen to use. Breakfast was very good, too. The location was great - could walk to many of the local attractions. Would definitely recommend!

It has been simply years since I last stayed at the North Bridge Inn; we stayed there for our last few nights before we, sadly, moved away from Concord. But we have never really left, and return several times a year to be with friends in our favourite place. This visit I decided to stay in the Inn instead of with friends, for that modicum of flexibility. And I am so very glad I did, as I will now be returning over and again. The inn has changed ownership since then, and I have to say there is is not a single misstep, from booking onwards. The inn is smack dab in the middle of town. For those who are visiting the town, you can walk to the Old North Bridge, Hawthorne's home, the town center, the Concord Museum, and you are but a short drive to Walden Pond. The town, small as it may be, is a delight to wander in, and to shop. Do not miss the Concord Bookshop, one of the finest bookshops in America.
Back to the Inn: it is beautifully and tastefully decorated, in the public areas, and the suites. The suites are spacious and have a range of accommodation. On this go, with only the teenage daughter in tow, I chose the Longfellow suite, and it was perfect. Plenty of room for each, table and chairs, small kitchen area. All we needed. I would choose this space if I were traveling by myself. Breakfast is beautifully presented, and you can easily dine on fruit, baked goods, and cereals, but a hot meal is prepared for you if you like.
We had a typical teenage crisis involving a necessary pair of pants which were soaking wet (long story) and they came to our aid with the Inn's dryer. I travel a great deal, in varied countries, and this is the sort of accommodation that is a pure pleasure to visit.

Room Tip: You cannot go wrong with any of the suites, it really depends on your personal needs as to which con...

The North Bridge Inn has become a wonderful overnight location for us on numerous trips between Pennsylvania and Maine. Our recent 2 stays in February met all of our expectations.

Our suite (Longfellow) included a large bedroom, comfortable living room and a small kitchenette. Everything was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The sofa and flat screen TV/DVD combo provided for relaxing evenings after outdoor time in Concord.

Heidi, the owner, and Deborah are welcoming, friendly and always helpful.

The Inn’s location is ideal, right off of the square in Concord, and a very short walk to wonderful shops and restaurants in town. The off-street parking allows the car to be safely left during the stay.

Breakfast was very good – pancakes, sausage, a wonderful banana bread and muffins were served during our recent stay along with an assortment of fruit, cereals and juices.

It’s worth noting that some rooms – but not all – at the Inn are pet friendly. While we were without our cats on this trip, we have had them with us on other trips.

We highly recommend the Inn for a stay in Concord.

We stayed at the Northbridge Inn in Concord, Massachusetts, a most beautiful town which has changed very little since the 18th century, the nights of February 7 and 8, 2014. This handsome Bed and Breakfast has six rooms, each with private bath and kitchen facilities. A few of the rooms are really suites. I cannot praise this Inn enough as it is beautifullly furnished, very conveniently located, with excellent service. Free parking is available as well, right behind the building. The Minuteman National Historic Park is about a mile away where one can stand on the "rude bridge" where "the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard round the world." (From Concord Hymn by Ralph Waldo Emerson) It was hard to leave this lovely place and whole area.

Room Tip: We had room #5 on the 3rd floor (there is no elevator). It is quite spacious with a little kitchen a...

We really enjoyed our recent 3-night stay. The room was spacious--we are a family of 4 with 2 teens. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was good every morning and you cannot beat the location.

I love staying here! I have stayed a dozen times over many years. The breakfast is great, the location doesn't get much better (right in Concord), and the rooms are good size and quaint. Its always clean with daily excellent service. Depending on who is working in the kitchen you may have a different "experience". I've never gotten a king bed here, but they probably have one somewhere - usually forced into a full or a queen. Stay here - I always enjoy it!

Room Tip: Call ahead!
