We stayed here for three nights and we really enjoyed it. We travel a lot in Spain and this place rates amongst the best three hotels we have stayed in. The location is perfect. It is just off the main tapas and bars street and therefore has the best of both being close to the action and just off it enough to not be adversely affected by noise at weekends.

The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished and all newly redesigned. The beds are comfortable and they offer doubles for couples - something sadly lacking in many Spanish hotels.

The owner is an absolute star. He helped us in great detail with our trip plans, let us use his printer for some airline boarding passes, constantly wanted to accommodate and ensure we had a lovely time. This is a hotel that cares about the customer and it is worth its weight in gold.

Breakfast is offered at this boutique hotel and it is excellent. We were offered local breads, cakes, coffee and freshly squeezed juices. It all tasted fabulous and was part of the room price.

In terms of improvements - the reception is part time, which is not a problem in its own. However the minibar in the room was empty and with no room service, it made having a drink of cold water impossible unless it was prior bought. If a reception is part time, the hotel really should accommodate with a mini bar for guests convenience.

Aside from that, it was all rather splendid and we will most definitely stay again. 100% recommended.

Modern clean rooms set in a old townhouse in the city. The owner has developed he place to have a "boutique" feel and he's done a great job. Very friendly and helpful too. He recommended a restaurant run by his son over the other side of town (10 mins walk), where we were looked after once again with some authentic Galician cuisine and some shots of some mad hooch that they all drink around there. Drink it at your peril! :-). Breakfast back at the hotel was done fresh to order the next morning, and was simple and adequate. All served with a smile.

This is what boutique hotels should be. It is a modern and thoughtful development of an old building which housed ship supplies for the nearby port in times past. The marina and the bridge are visible from the street, a short walk down the road. The rooms have impressive bathrooms with very fashionable fittings, and even details like night lights in rooms.
The star turn is the host, a man determined that his guests will enjoy their stay and his town. Despite no common language, his enthusiasm and acting crossed the barrier and added greatly to our pleasure in the town.

Although difficult to find in the narrow streets of old Ribadeo, it was well worth the effort.
The old former building has been totally transformed into a tasteful, modern hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a really superb bathroom.
We spent 2 nights and enjoyed it totally in great part thanks to the care and kindness of the owner. Breakfast is a delight of local breads and cakes served with his personal attention.
We also had dinner at their family restaurant situated 200 metres away where we experienced excellent food and service.
Hotel Rolle was a real "find" and offered outstanding value for money. We would have no hesitation in staying here in the future.
