“Loved it!”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Acacia's atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We sat at the small bar, and the bar tenders were super friendly and extremely we'll informed about the menu choices. We had the grilled Brussels sprouts that were seasoned with jalapeño honey, which were to die for. The ahi tuna and squash flowers tempura were fabulous too!! This is a restaurant that does not serve mounds of food, but what they do serve is well prepared, fresh and tasty. Mmmmm...

“Very good restaurant”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

We stopped in at the Acacia on a whim as our first choice happened to be closed. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is very nice, serves great food, has excellent service, and is clean and accomodating.

The restaurant has a very attractive courtyard for outside eating, and would have loved to try it if the high humidity wasn't so high that it turned into a brief shower.

We would definitely eat here again.

It was our first visit. The Chef accommodated us with making a special appetizer. The staff were friendly and knowledgable about wine. It will become a favorite for us .

“Hit or miss.”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

This used to be our favorite place. We have found that over the past few years it has been hit or miss. Sometimes the food it outstanding other times just ok. The same goes for the service. We have not been in a while, but we are going to give it another try.

“Interesting menu”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

Had a chance to eat at Acacia on a business trip. The menu has some interesting choices. We started with the calamari and the cauliflower fritters both of which were OK. I had the faro and a coworker had the short ribs which were both excellent. The remaining people in the party had crab cakes but they were a bit disappointed in them. I had hesitated on ordering the faro, it sounded good with pumpkin sage and kale but we had to ask what faro was. I am glad that I decided to be adventuresome it was delicious. The deserts received 5 stars across from everyone. The staff was friendly and service was good. I would return the next time we're in Frederick.
