“A nice place to visit if you are in the area”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

This park has quickly become a family favorite. It has plenty of room to walk, benches to rest, and water features and plants to liven things up. There are architecturally interesting little bridges crossing the water at various points. One such bridge has the zodiac signs on the sides. My kids are fascinated by it. There are fish of all sizes in the water, ducks swim around, and in the summer lotuses and water lilies bloom. There are plenty of eateries in the area, some of them right on the park. A Sunday picnic by the fountains while people watching easily beats sitting glued to a screen at home.

“Great town”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

The Carroll creek linear park extends through town with Baker park at one end and the train station at the other. Plenty of dining choices creekside and a pleasant walk. The painted bridge is hand painted artwork making the bridge look like stone work. Look closely and see figures in the stones.

“Sunday stroll after brunch”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

We passed by this park on our way to The Wine kitchen where we had our brunch. There was an art festival in the park. So many things to see, they also had food tents .
Beautiful bridge , picture perfect.

“Lovely park and walking trail”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

In my opinion: The tromp l'oeil paint on the walls and along the bridge supports was just great to look at. I especially like finding the duck on one of the bridge supports. The trail is tree-lined and the creek runs between the two sides of the trail. It is a peaceful and pretty trail to walk on. Note that bicycles also use this trail. There is no guard rail to prevent someone from falling in.

“Nice trail to walk around”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Carrol Creek park is a nice long trail that goes from downtown to Baker park. In the spring and summer, the trees that line the park are really beautiful, and the walk is very pleasant and easy. The trail ends in the dog park near Baker park, which is also fun to watch. You can also bike on the linear trail.
