“A recommendation from our hotel”
Reviewed 5 March 2014 via mobile

The restaurant was almost next door to our hotel so very convenient location for us. Loved the funky seating arrangements sat with our backs to the wall facing in and at the Castle. Great for people watching and food watching. We had a dish of very thinly cut veal that they were promoting that week. It was delicious and a very good start to the meal. I than had dorado and my husband had the croquettes. The wine was served in lovely big glasses and with flair from the staff. Don,t expect an English type meal but do try it and enjoy something a bit different. Also very good value.

“Good for a drink as well”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

Saw some mixed reviews, but we went here twice for drinks. The waiter was very pleasant, and they had an extensive wine list , but had a lot of diners having full meals but also self service pinchos. Ambiance was good, nice background music.

“Tapas with a modern twist”
Reviewed 8 June 2013

We visited this restaurant on 5th June and were drawn to it because it appeared to be more modern and uptodate than most Mediterranean restaurants, but more importantly, we liked the description of the tapas shown on the menu. Like the previous reviewer who had the mussels and carrots we also decided to have that dish. It's not for the faint-hearted but found it interesting and quite tasty, slightly on the sweet side. But more than this we had 4 further tapas dishes which were absolutely delicious - stuffed squid, confit of duck, red mulletts, mushroom croquettes. These were the type of tapas which we were looking for, not the usual tapas that can be found in most restuarants in Spain. If you're a foodie, I would strongly recommend that you try here, to try the different flavours and tastes and the ex.cellent wines that are on offer. We had a great evening and will be returning before the end of this weekend before we go back to England.
