This little gem of a hotel has many lounges, beautiful gardens and a a swimming pool, in short -
a very relaxing athmosphere. The owner speaks very good English and was very helpful giving us good advice for hiking tours, he even lent us his map!
The food was very tasteful and the staff very nice.
Our room was spacious and clean.
We sure come back here another time!

Room Tip: Rooms were nice and clean.

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. A charming, quirky hotel in the old station with lots of interesting touches. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is a very short walk from the centre of the fascinating Arab/medieval hill town of Bocairent which is well worth exploring.
Service from the manager and staff was excellent, and as for the food, it was simply outstanding. Do not miss the evening inclusive menu for 22 euros, one of the most delicious and best value meals we have had anywhere.
Highly recommended.

We were looking for a country hotel for just one night at the end of our holiday in Spain, and discovered this hotel and the town of Bocairent, neither of which we had ever heard of before.
We enjoyed the spectacular change in the scenery and the different vegetation and climate having travelled up from the coast. It waqs alittle cooler and certainly a lot greener up in the mountain area.
The town of Bocairent lies in the middle of several national parks and our n;y regret is that we had left so little time in our itinerary to explore it more fully.
From the minute we arrived at the hotel we felt comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and our room was exactly as we wanted.
After exploring the interesting medieval town on foot, we returned to the hotel for the evening meal. We chose the set menu @ 22 euros and were not disappointed. The house vino tinto was also a great choice.
Breakfast offered a generous selection at the self-serve buffet.
We checked out kinowing that we will be back here very soon.

This was a planned stop over en route from Chulilla (a first class B&B) to a rented Finca at Denia for our second year there! Once you appreciate that the very length of the building may result in an unmanned reception a bell attracts prompt attention and if expected, a warm welcome. once possessed of a front door key pad code your sense of security is enhanced. The building is well appointed and the rooms were of excellent quality. Staff had an uncanny skill at being close at hand when needed yet otherwise maintained a discrete distance. The test of a good hotel for us is to transport it to a downtrodden place and judge if you would still return.

This hotel passes that test with flying colours. The hotel features in "Back Roads Spain" where it is listed as expensive. It is not cheap but I was very happy to pay this bill.

Bocairente is a hilltop town full of character and I suspect the Covetes dels Moros would have been worth a visit. It was closed on a Monday the day we were there. Imagine a small man made labyrinthine network of caves cut out of the rock face.

Don't do into the town without a map from reception (our mistake) unless you want to get lost. The narrow streets of the old town will lead you up and down in and out but we ended up thirsty and lost at what was the eastern edge of the town. We were refreshed by a couple of plums straight from a tree.

The food a the hotel was a little like the Orient Express - first class all the way. Would we stay here again - most definitely.

This hotel is a member of a Group called "Relais Du Silence" If this hotel is a mark of their Quality then there is another source of good hotels. the Parador group Hotel we stayed at and will be reviewed is poor in comparison.

One of our best stays in Spain - Very well done!

Room Tip: WE chose a superior room. We are confident that all room would be to a high standard

What a delightful hotel, we stayed there with our two dogs for one night on our way to the Costa del Sol, and really wished we'd booked for two.

The hotel, is a beautifully converted railway station set within a park, and just over the bridge from the town. It has tremendous character, with good sized bedrooms, a huge comfy lounge, along with another smaller cosy lounge with free coffee. There was also a nicely laid out cosy dining room. Outside there were a couple of beautifully furnished small walled gardens. There was also a lovely swimming pool, set in a small walled garden that was so incredibly tranquil.

There were some lovely touches in our room; a large bowl of fresh fruit, complimentary bottles of mineral water, two large bathrobes and slippers.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was very good, and reasonably priced, including the wine. The breakfast was excellent. The facilities and comfort was certainly better than many four star hotels we've stayed in.

Our only gripe; we were charged 25 Euros for two small dogs who slept on their own beds. We travel a lot through France and Spain and, when charged, which is not always, the charges are always nominal, on average around 9 Euros for the two. We did think 25 Euros was a little steep and the cost was not shown on Booking.com or the hotel web site. Hence the reason I only put three stars for value. If we hadn't have been charged so much for the dogs I would have given 5 stars.

We have stayed at this hotel twice, last year and just recently. It has great character, charm and friendliness. It is situated just outside the edge of the old town, across the bridge. There is plenty of parking and we like the way the old small station has been refurbished with small touches of the "bygone years" of former travellers. There is a charming restaurant serving very good breakfasts and choice of evening dinners; the bar is within the large cavernous comfortable lounge area. Free coffee is provided in another small salon room. There is an adequately sized outside pool (not heated we believe) and very pleasant seating areas in the gardens. The winters can be cold but the hotel provides good heating and the summers invariably very warm but not as hot as the coast due to its elevation. Bedrooms are large and well furnished and appointed with bathrooms provided with a good range of toiletries. On the 2 occasions we have stayed there has never been any problem with the adequacy of plenty of hot water. Certainly we will return again, it is "one of our little gems" in this part of Spain. Surprisingly it only has a 3 star rating and as seasoned travellers would rate it is probably one of the best 3 star hotels in which we have stayed. Johnie London

Room Tip: Rooms on the 1st floor if possible.
