“Beautiful Food in a Beautiful Place”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

We are surprised that a few of the reviewers weren't too happy with the food or service. We thought both were excellent! The decor is very southwestern and comfortable. A small bar is provided for those who want to enjoy the craft beers and wines and perhaps chat with the friendly owners, but nice, comfortable tables and seating offer perfect settings for the delicious food. The Grilled Chicken Panini, with lemon apricot cheese and onions was unique and very good. But the Lahmacun was the highlight. It consisted of Mediterranean spiced lamb, feta cheese, lettuce (which I declined), cabbage, tatziki, in lavosh bread. What a fresh, different, and special treat! Certainly worthy of a return visit.

“The Horn Saloon”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 via mobile

Read a great review about this place in AZ Highways magazine, so we thought we would Splurge on a fancy dinner after 10 days of camping in the Grand Canyon.....
Well, it has a nice atmosphere, but the food was NOT that great. Our shared calamari appetizer was very small & rather tasteless. My husband's Trout entree as well as my Salmon entree were overwhelmed with the sauces used & the fish itself was over cooked & dry. Additionally, my plate was Half Full of grilled cauliflower (way too much),& the vegetable "tart" looked like it had sat around for awhile & was overcooked/reheated!
Also, My husband noticed some sort of crystally sediment in the bottom of his wine glass, which disturbed him. The waitress or hostess explained that this was natural in kegged wine, but we have never experienced this before....
All in all, I think a lot more emphasis should be placed on flavor combinations as well as prep work for this restaurant to succeed, especially at the prices charged!

Thank Mo K

They have great craft beer on tap. Super menu and very friendly staff. On Wednesdays afternoon they have a singer guitar player on the patio from 4 to 6. Food is very well prepared and presented. Did i mention the craft beer?

I liked the menu and the selection of wines. The service was quite good, but the manager didn't seem very friendly

“Romantic Lunch”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

A nice place with great food and nice selection of local wines and multiple beers on draft. The staff are very friendly the décor is really authentic and for sale. Food is a little pricey but worth it in my opinion we were on a weekend getaway and celebrating my birthday so it was all good.
