Unfortunately while we had booked No.6, on arrival at the agents office we were told we were getting No.7. When we arrived at the property. The position of the apartment is far inferior to No.6. The terrace is on the other side of the property in the shade an over looked by other flats, while the terrace in No.6 is full of sun and not overlooked.
The main reason we booked was for the terrace, if we had known we were not getting it, we would not have booked.
We also noticed that No.6 was not occupied for the whole duration of our stay, so don't understand why were not given it, unless they are just using No.6 as advertising for other flats.
Also there were a few other minor things were not here when we arrived, no hairdryer, and no kettle, which are in the description, lights broken, an extension lead not working.
We made our complaints known as so as we arrived, but nothing could be done that night, and no one bothered to email or call me us back the following day so nothing ws done about it, which was very frustrating.
Also no quilt covers on the beds, which must just be a cost saving measure to save on washing bills, but it is not very hygenic. The beds were OK, but were only the put you up type of bed. The sofa was not very comfortable, and a couple of chairs had seen better days.
We were also not given a key to the lift and the key to the flat said no.6, when in fact it was for No.7! Which made our arrival very uncomfortable and unpleasant.
In future I will take more care in booking, and there ought to be a way of checking an apartment first before paying upfront, in this way Airbnb is a far better service than Holiday Villas. Also how does one get a REFUND?
I have to say we won't be booking with VACACIONES Y BIENESTAR S.L. again....
