“Modern, charming, perfect location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2012

We stayed here 2 times in June on our way to Andalusia and back. We really enjoyed this hotel for several reasons: room 303 has a great terrace, private and secure parking, clean and comfortable rooms (though quite small) with excellent bed linens, breakfast is very good (ham, cheese, tomato purée, bread, coffee, juice, etc), the staff are always friendly and the overall feel of the hotel is very charming with open courtyards and lots of greenery. The hotel is an excellent central location, within easy reach of the shopping streets and the busy tapas restaurant street (lots of choice and only a 2 minute walk away). The beach is reachable by foot in about 15 minutes. Overall, really great experience and very reasonably priced. If they could add a pool and if the rooms were bigger, it would be un-beatable!

stayed here for 3 nights in early June 2012...room very clean but maybe a bit small however bathroom very spacious. No views as hotel backs onto the street but overall a nice comfortable place to stay with an excellent breakfast....staff also very helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the main building

Stayed for two nights B&B the room was very nice the bathroom was also excellent. Breakfast was one of the high lights of our stay but the noise level in the hotel overall was very bad also the staff seemed very disinterested in most all things happening around them

Room Tip: Dont get the rooms next to the laundry room which is on the first floor

This was a really charming hotel located in the heart of Denia old town and about a 15 minute gentle stroll to the beach. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable with lovely decor and a beautiful bathroom. Ours had a large spa bath, which was a real treat at the end of the day. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, speaking a small amount of English. On the second day we were left wine glasses in our room, as we had brought in a bottle of wine, from the supermarket, even though there were adequate glasses and tumblers that we could have used. There was also a fridge in the room which was stocked with a few complimentary soft drinks and water. The rest of the hotel is stunning, with a lovely restaurant; although we did not have a dinner, we wished we had gone for the half board option. The breakfast was spanish, so there were no cereals, egg, bacon etc, but it was beautifully presented and adequate. If I'd stayed longer I probably would have bought cereal and milk from the nearby supermarket, but it is always nice to try something different.
The communal lounge is also lovely, and very big considering there are only 7 rooms in the hotel. There were a few games and good supply of books or a chess set,if you wanted to relax,
All in all it was a fantastic three day break in Denia, the old town is lovely, the castle is well worth the 3 euro entrance fee, if only for the stunning views, and there are plenty of restaurants.

Room Tip: our room was on the second floor and looked out over the street, not much of a view, although it is...

I was really impressed by this little, cute hotel in Denia. The rooms have an artistic feeling and the service is fantastic. They even changed the price the next morning, because I had the halfboard rate, but didn`t realise it! Today its rare to find a place where you get a good value for money. Thats the reason, why I already stay two times and if I ever come back to this region in Spain I will stay again in the Nou Roma.

We stayed for seven nights in August and were very happy to find that it was everything we wanted and more. Our room 207 was on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel, and had a lovely balcony which overlooked part of the courtyard.Great air conditioning which was a must as it was really hot while we were in Denia ; excellent breakfasts every day....we had freshly squeezed orange, great cafe con leche, eggs, ham, tomatoes, home made jams, lovely bread and every morning a slice of home made cake!! The bed was really comfortable with excellent quality sheets and pillows.Great shower and bath too! The staff were really lovely, particularly Maria who was able to speak some English!! We found that although it took about 10/15 minutes to walk to the beach,it was worth it! You can always stop for a cool drink on the way! The old town of Denia was a short stroll from the hotel, with plenty of lovely tapas bars and shops to explore. We really loved it there and are planning to return next summer.

Room Tip: We were in 207 but I'm sure that all the rooms would be good. They are all different and have th...

First of all, if you want to live near beach, you'd better book an apartment. All good beaches with white sand and clear water are far from city center (and port). But hotel is near the Castle, main shopping streets, restaurants and small quiet streets which are very beautiful and safe. My room 101 was big enough, bathroom has jacuzzi and housekeeping is well. Staff is very polite and helpful. Free wifi and rooftop terrace was good. Hotel has nice restaurant which are popular for locals. Minor point-not so quiet as I expected before, because of jacuzzi of neighbours or lavandery machine, and of overcrowded restaurant by night (until 1 am I think), the rest is really amazing. Suggestions - you can go to the beaches las marinas and las rotes by bus from bus stop which is located near club nautica opposite Marques de Campos street.
