I recomend this nice and charming hotel. Location is perfect on a nice narrow street full with restaurants. It has parking place as well for a fee, but it's located at about 100m away from the hotel. I've parked my car on a near street without any headik. City is beautiful and the beach and harbour area is nice as well to visit. There is a free safety deposit box and wifi is working properly in the room. For breakfast you have not too many choises but still is ok. You can sit for breakfast on the inside yard terrace, very beautiful and relaxing.

Found this great little hotel on Tripadviser. Super 2 night stay in July 2014. Outstanding service. Great location in the centre of the town v close to lots of bars and restaurants. Our (quiet) room was traditional in a style with v comfy bed. Simple breakfast in the courtyard was perfect. Short walk to the beach via the tunnel under the castle. A real gem.

We had never stayed in Denia before but were recommended to this Hostal by our son. What a lovely experience. The owners are so helpful and informative, with changes of language being no problem. We had an inward facing room, which had everything you could need, with two windows. It was traditional style (beamed ceilings and lovely large comfortable beds). We were overlooking the inner courtyard, which is beautifully painted and has tables and chairs. This is where we had our breakfast each morning. The highlight is the location. It is on one of the prettiest streets in Denia, with Tapas bars and lovely restaurants. The restaurant at the Hostal is first class. The tapas here are massive!! We ordered three and couldn't eat again that evening. Look forward to staying there again.

Room Tip: Inward facing are quieter, we were told by the owner.

Excellent address: comfortable room with charm and perfectly clean bathroom. What a nice change from the modern giant hotels along the coast! We had a room looking out on the narrow street and enjoyed seeing what was going on. Later at night in March the street was quiet. If you need absolute silence, then ask for a room looking towards the patio.
Be sure you don't miss the meals at the Restaurant Loreto: superbe quality and interesting menus. A true delight!

This is a lovely little hotel in a narrow pedestrian (most of the day) street full of Spanish charm and tapas bars in the heart of the historic quarter. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay there. The owners were friendly, helpful and also multi-lingual. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Our room overlooked the open central courtyard rather than the street and we were not disturbed just as much by the noise of the crowds enjoying the fallas which were in progress. The room had aircon, an overhead fan and a window and we found all of these to be necessary even though it was only mid March. There is a restaurant attached which serves good, reasonably priced food and better than average house wine. We found Denia to be a delightful town and we will undoubtedly return to the hotel. Already we have recommended it to friends.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the central courtyard may be quieter.

Could not fault this hostel, we had our second visit last week and it was superb, we went for an inward facing room and it was a delight, really comfortable and nice and quiet. The staff and owners are fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. If you do visit don't forget to go to the restaurant attached, it is without doubt one of the finest and best value restaurants in the world, the food is truly amazing, the chief Phil is outstanding and the girls that work there are delightful.

Room Tip: recommend an inward facing room

My sister and I stayed here last week and, on the whole, had a really good stay.
We've never stayed in a hostal before but have visited many of the hotels in Denial. Loreto is possibly in the best location of all - in a very Spanish area, set amongst lots of great little tapas bars and restaurants.
The building is really lovely and very Spanish. The staff and owners are great. They provided lots of useful information before we arrived and during our stay. The floors were sparkling throughout and our room was lovely and clean. The basin and the small bath were spotless. The only downside, and this was a big issue for us, was the rest of the bathroom. The toilet bowl was black below the waterline and the shower head, curtain, tiles and grouting were mouldy. We sprayed the area with disinfectant and managed to get the toilet clean but couldn't face using the shower.
Compare this with the toilets in the restaurant. They were gleaming and fragrant which was very reassuring because we used the restaurant an awful lot during our stay. The waitresses are lovely and the food is great and very reasonably priced. It was one of the few busy restaurants in Denia which, like most of Spain, has been hit heavily by recession, so that says a lot for the Loreto!
If not for the bathroom, in our opinion, this is the best place to stay in Denia - and the cheapest!
