Very much enjoyed our one night stay in this clean and warm family hotel.
The room was already airconditioned on arrival - they don't do that anymore, nice touch.

Good beds, only tv so far that actually accepted our usb-stick and a proper working minibar.

Very good breakfast buffet.

We stayed here for a weekend break and thought the hotel was very nice. The following day (Sunday) there was a party from outside the hotel who took over a good deal of the restaurant and outside space. They were noisy and one man in particular was raising his voice. We decided to go for a siesta but then the music started and went on for nearly 3 hours. No siesta, we then went down for something to eat and the party was still outside on the terrace. The problem here is this is not a large hotel and the space inside and outside is limited. If you bring a party of an additional 50 people into the grounds when the hotel is full then there is a space issue and a disturbance. If you are staying at the hotel you should be warned in advance and then you have the choice if to stay or not. Had we known this we would not have gone. Beds and pillows are hard.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor and a sea view room.

We stayed for 3 nights beginning of June. It's a lovely hotel and we were pleased with our room which had a balcony overlooking the beach. The balcony door has an electrical shutter so during the night it is very dark and therefore condusive to a good night's sleep. It had a fridge with some cold drinks inside and ample toiletries in the bathroom. We took our own coffee facilities. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the towels were white and fluffy.

There was a hot and cold buffet breakfast which provided a good variety. Lunch (if you have room after eating the breakfast!) is available on the terrace next to the beach and a 4 course dinner is available in the evening. The menu for which is changed daily. The menu is very limited but the food is of very good quality. However, there was nothing available as a main meal for vegetarians. Prices are as you would expect of a 4star hotel.

It's location on the beach is excellent although the sand is not easy to walk on as it is very soft and gritty. There is no promenade. It's location in terms of resort facilities is odd. There is no resort as such. It seems to be a residential area and there is nowhere to stroll around. There is more going on if you turn left out of the hotel a few hundred yards up the road where there is a very small square with a couple of restaurants, a bar, a touristy shop and a "supermarket" which sells a limited selection of British newspapers. In the other direction there are a couple of small "supermarkets" and restaurants. If you want to get away from "Brits abroad" this is the place to be!

The service was as one would expect of a 4star hotel and all the staff were curteous, polite and very well presented. One morning the shutter broke on the balcony door and we were unable to open it. We reported it to reception on our way out in the morning and by the time we returned to our room a short while later it was fixed.

Overall, a lovely weekend.

We stayed here for five nights and a sea view room. It was fabulous. Our balcony looked out over the hotel terrace/gardens & pool which led directly into a lovely clean sandy beach. The beach at Denia is the longest I've seen - it stretches for miles in each direction and every morning a tractor comes along and sweeps the beach so it's always lovely and litter free.
The hotel was absolutely lovely - it's decorated in a semi 'shabby chic' style which is definitely more chic than shabby. We were with friends who had an adjoining room - and although our rooms were identical in shape and form - we had different 'antique' bedside tables and bedside lamps to that of our friends. Each room was decorated beautifully. The balcony furniture was of good quality too - lovely cane chairs with padded cushions and a heavy iron and tiled table. (A million miles away from the usually plastic varieties). The bathroom was well appointed, lovely and clean with a selection of complimentary toiletries. The shower head was very large and delivered a really good powerful shower. We also had a mini-bar with ample room in the fridge for my milk (I always take my travel kettle as I know most continental hotels don't provide tea making facilities). We did ask the maids to show us the rooms that face inland - these rooms are quite a bit bigger with larger balconies but I guess they do that to compensate for the lack of view. The bathrooms in the rooms facing inland were amazing - they had a shabby chic wow factor with antique washstands and other really interesting bits. The decor in this hotel feels really personal and makes you feel like they've designed it just for you. It certainly has a lot of charm which other 'identikit' hotels seem to lack.
There was a lovely outside bar on the terrace which also sold ice creams - the pool area was really nice and the surrounding area really nice to walk on in bare feet (sort of smooth pebbled tiles). There was also a tennis court if you felt like dragging yourself off the lounger.
At night we left the patio doors to our balcony open and I fell asleep to the sound of the waves rolling in on the sand (yes you are that close to the water's edge !!). There was a lovely soft breeze that kept the room feeling fresh and cool. We didn't close our shutters at night because we like to wake up to the morning sun.
Breakfast was fabulous - super selction plus bacon, eggs & sausage available every morning. The sausages were really good quality course pork and quite the best I have tasted for a long time (even better than our usual Waitrose British banger !). You eat your breakfast not 75 yds from the edge of the water - lovely.
The only downside to this hotel is that it is quite a long way out of Denia town itself (I think probably about 5 kms) - you would need a car as it was too far to walk in the heat - although the men in our party did just do that and got horribly sunburnt. There is a bus though and it is within walking distance of some very nice local bars and a couple of small tourist style shops.
I would definitely return to this hotel.
One last note: I did have a hot chocolate drink on several evenings and when we got out bill at the end of the holiday - I was very surprised to find this was only 1.64 euros each time - bargain ! - as was the whole stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea are definitely the best. Rooms facing inland are larger - with larger out of t...

Just back from a short stay at the Los Angeles Hotel, what a lovely hotel, not too big, stylishly decorated, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, good food and directly on the beach, this is a very relaxing hotel, the staff were very obliging, food was good, breakfast - plenty of choice. It is in a quiet location, and at night the only sound is the waves lapping the shore. The one thing that may be a drawback, it is a fair distance from Denia town, and not much to do locally if you don't have a car, we did, so it was perfect for us.

Lovely hotel, tastefully decorated. The beachside terrace is such a peaceful spot. Snacks on the terrace are delicious. Breakfast was varied and all very good indeed. Service was a little slow but the relaxed and peaceful ambience meant this really wasn't a problem.Evening menu was good with reasonably priced wines to go with it.
