After 11 days I spent at Eden Garden , I can say I am full of enthusiasm, I have had a wonderful time there! The place has a homey atmosphere, very clean, cosy and nice. The pool is very clean as well. The staff is very client oriented, friendly, they do everything to make your vacation perfect. The cuisine and bar are also excellent, I have tasted food and drinks in other places as well, but never had anything better than the cocktails made by Berkay!
It is a place worthy visiting, and a real Eden Garden !

Just back from our 8th year staying at Eden Garden aparts and once again it was a lovely holiday made even better by the friendliness of Berkay, Haydar (mario) , Sevinc, Haydar. Nurey and team. It really is home from home. Beautiful surroundings in a quiet location these aparts have everything you need. Situated about 10 -15 mins walk from Icmeler town it is based in the "old village" . The aparts are really clean with daily maid service, the pool area is idyllic and right outside your rooms. Even with children there it is not very noisy. The bar/snack bar area is right at the side of the pool serving good food and drink at reasonable prices. Try mamas pancakes they are the best!! Nothing is too much trouble for this wonderful family and staff. one of our party lost a fiiling and straight away was taken to the local dentist by Haydar who waited with them until they had a new filling. They even said it was nicer than the english dentist and a lot cheaper. There is not much more to say about Eden Garden except we will be back next year.......there is a reason it is No1 in Icmeler.

Room Tip: All rooms are facing the pool, however, if you have a young child ask for one furthest away from bar...

I spent 2 weeks at Eden Garden apartments with my girlfriend in July this year.
We had a great holiday and Eden Garden was superb. The pool area and sunloungers were spotless, food and drinks at the bar were lovely and reasonably priced and the owners very helpful and welcoming. The hotel really does have a great community feel about it and you really do feel like you are part of a larger group. It’s very easy to meet new people and make new friends. Rooms were basic but comfortable and had everything we required. Air con was very good (and definitely needed) at a reasonable price. Only downside was that the shower was very basic and would often flood onto the bathroom floor but this was minor and certainly not enough of an issue to complain about. Fresh towels and sheets were provided regularly but floors in apartment could have done with more cleaning during our stay.
Icmeler was a very nice town, we enjoyed the beach (although it was very busy) and there are some lovely restaurants and bars such as Tommys, the Irish Bar, Love Boat and Hanedan. It was a 15-20 min walk into town from the apartments which was fine on an evening but too hot to attempt during the day (As we learned the hard way early in our stay!). There is a Dolmus (Cross between a taxi and a bus) and Taxi stop just down the road from the apartments which will take you into town.
Overall we would definitely go back to Icmeler and recommend Eden Garden Apartments.

Our two “top tips!

Tip one! If you are on a similar budget to what we were, you can’t afford to eat out at fancy restaurants every single night. Every now and then you need to save money and take it easy! Just down the road a few minutes walk from the hotel is Tommy’s bar and restaurant. Here they do the cheapest food and drink we found during our stay. There is a set 3 course menu for 17lira and a draught Efes is only 4 lira (The average I found was around 6 lira). Despite being cheap the food is still good.

Tip two! 90% of the restaurants in Icemeler are “Chinese/Indian/Turkish steak house fun pubs”. Anyone who has been to Icemeler before will understand! These are basically just aiming themselves at tourists by offering absolutely everything. We soon tired of these as basically all the menus are the same.
Following a recommendation from another holiday maker around the pool we went to Hannedan BBQ. This is on the walk into town. This is a proper Turkish restaurant where you can sample traditional Turkish food in a Turkish restaurant. I have reviewed this separately but in short it is a must if you want to experience proper Turkish food. We liked this place so much that we chose to return here for our last night!

All of the above sounds pretty standard for a review of a good hotel. Where Eden Garden Apartments go further is the team and how well they look after everyone.

Nothing is too much trouble and they aren’t just helpful when asked but actively seek to help you.
For example, the day before we came home my transfer documents said I would need to phone their office in Turkey to confirm times etc. I saw Berkay and asked if there was anywhere I could call from. He immediately took the document and rang from his mobile. He must have been on the phone for 5 minutes speaking in Turkish. Clearly it was not as straight forward as just confirming the booking! Eventually he got off the phone and simply said it was all sorted and gave me a time. Thank God I didn’t have to make that phone call!
This is just a small thing but it’s little stresses like this that the team take off you to ensure you can just relax and enjoy your holiday.

Something else that really impressed me was that the bar/restaurant also allows you to just run up a tab on your room so that you are not constantly having to mess around with cash. Sometimes we would pay this on the same day, sometimes it would rack up for several days. Over the course of our 2 weeks there was not a single error on any of our bills. Half the time when I go to my local restaurant at home they make some kind of mistake!

Thanks to Mario, Berkay and the team! I’m sure we will see you again sometime in the near future!

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms. all have the same aspect and view.

We have recently returned from our 3rd visit to Eden Garden and we loved it as much as we did the first time! The family are lovely and do all they can to make sure you have a great holiday. If you get the chance you must go and see for yourself :)

Room Tip: All rooms are the same and they all face the front.

All of the staff were very helpful, and couldn't do enough to ensure the Holiday was the best possible. All food/drink prices were reasonable, and food was delicious. Only issue was the shower, which only has a curtain (That doesn't reach the floor) and tends to flood the bathroom (Although there is a drain on the floor for the water.) This was my second time staying here at Eden Gardens, but definitely not the last! Only a 10-15 min walk to Icmeler town centre, or 10 TL for a taxi. PROTIP: AVOID THE MARKET ON SUNDAYS. It's fine on a Wednesday, but consider Sunday a no-go zone. Very quiet on Sunday, so a higher chance of being ripped off (Personal experience). Wednesday however, picked up some bargains and had an overall good day. Best place for food? Cupids Steakhouse. Fantastic prices, great staff, very friendly. Only a 2 minute walk from the beach too!

Room Tip: Rooms to the right tend to get less sun on the balcony

Our holiday started with a bit of a disastor. We was booked to stay in the Sindy apartments in Marmaris, we checked in to find the hotel was far below standard. The next morning we jumped the bus to the Grand Aqurium apartments in Icmeler where we had stayed before but they had no rooms avalibale. However, the customer realtions asked the hotel next door EDEN GARDEN. Berkay came and seen us, we had a look around and loved it straight away so took his last room he had availble. Berkay then took us in his car to the Sindy apartments to pick up our things and then took us back to the Eden Garden which I thought was very good of him as he didn't have to do this. We had a fantasic week the family was very friendly, the rooms were cleaned everyday and it was a good size room. The safety deposit box was a good price at £1 a day and the air con was a must and was a good price at £35 for the week. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with the mountains overlooking the hotel and the grounds are lovely with plants growing in the grounds. Its nice to have a bar in the hotel that is open 24 hours as you can get a drink at anytime (Berkay also makes the best Bloody Mary's in Turkey) and its not a problem with noise as the music is turned right down after 12 o'clock. To put the icing on the cake Berkay rang our transfers for us to see if they would pick up from Eden Garden but they said they couldn't so he said he would drop us back into marmaris to get our transfer which I thought was exeptional service. In my opion you couldn't wish to meet a nicer family and fantastic run hotel I would highly recomend this hotel.
