We had 1 weeks holiday 28 july 2013, was a bit worried of the reviews I had read but no need to worry we had a lovely time. All the people who work here are very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are great and kept very clean. It is about 15min walk to the heart of Icmeler . On Wednesdays they have a market which is right opposite the apartments, plenty of bargains to buy but you must haggle I brought a shirt for my grandson they wanted 60Lr I got it down to 15Lr. We ate out every night the food was fantastic wherever we went. You will have a fab time we will go back

My husband and I spent 10 days (20th June to 1st July) at these apartments. Although they are situated on a steep road they are only 10 minutes walk to the restaurants and 20 to the beach, buses are available, and the apartments are worth staying at. They are in a quiet situation. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 decent sized balconies to sit out on and a smaller one. The rooms and bedding were nice and clean, with a decent amount of hanging space. Air conditioning was provided at £35 a week and safe deposit boxes in the room at £15. Hairdryer provided in the bathroom. You have to buy your toilet rolls. Kitchen was basic:- 2 electric rings, toaster, kettle, basic cutlery & pans etc. As we eat out in an evening this was adequate for us. Neat bar and pool area.

Room Tip: There are 3 floors to the apartments, no lift provided.

When arriving at apartments at half six in morning the guy" speedy "took us to our room he made us feel so welcome was an amazing guy and all the other guys that where there but on our third day of our holiday the owner "olive" was shouting at our lovely holiday rep "Natalie " and giving her discusting looks which was not professional at all and in front of me as a guest I was not impressed so me and my partner agreed to change appartments the life appartments were nice but very very basic with no salt, pepper no cloth, microwave, a portable cooker, and a bit shirt with the bog roll , quiet location with a long walk to shops etc but "olive" needs an early retirement or gets more sleep coz I wouldnot stay there again as long as she's there not an nice atmosphere when she is about!!!!!!!

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Life Apartments. Great location at the top of the market area. Have to admit we did struggle sometimes with the hill but we took the shorter steep way up. Taxi from centre of town cost 10lira so this was also an option. Being a bit higher up the apartments/pool area did get a bit of a breeze which was such a relief. Wouldn't recommend the apartments for those with walking disabilities as there are loads of stairs. There is a ramp area at the side but this is very steep - I wouldn't use it but hubby did take our little boys buggy up n down sometimes.

Pool area is lovely. Nice size pool, bar area, restaurant seating area and pool table. Loads of sun loungers and loads of shaded areas if it gets too hot. Grounds were kept clean with lots of flowers and trees around. The baby pool is perfect for kiddies. The big pool isn't too deep either - my hubby who is 6ft 3 could stand at the deep end.

The rooms are basic but spotless. Bedroom consisted of 2 single beds (put together to form a double which actually seemed massive!), wardrobe with a couple of drawers inside and safe, dressing table, mirror and 2 bedside cabinets. There was also a shelf area running along the top of the bed which was useful. Room had its own balcony and most importantly air-conditioning - a must if staying in July and August. The bathroom was small but clean, proper shower, hairdryer and sink area with mirror and shelf. Lounge area contained 2 fold out chair beds (oldest kid said it was a bit hard to sleep on tho!), table with chairs, wardrobe and a kitchen area. Kitchen area had plenty of cupboard space, good selection of pots, cutlery, plates etc. Also had a fridge (with freezer compartment), kettle, toaster and 2 ring hob. Didn't do much cooking so can't comment on how easy it would be to whip up a meal! There was also another balcony with table and chairs. Was great having 2 balconies - one got the sun in the morning whilst the other got the sun in the afternoon.

The staff here are lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Alev, Speedie, Neo and Little Fella were always helpful and I really don't know how they coped with having my 2yr old running after them all the time! They were all fantastic with the kids - and adults! The maids and the lady who done the cooking were lovely to. Always spoke to us and made a special effort to come and say bye when we left.

Speedie holds events once or twice a week but swaps them round a bit so it isn't the same thing on the same day of the week. He always has special entertainment and then he keeps everyone entertained afterwards. Speedie and the other lads work soo hard. I really don't know how they do it.

We had breakfast and lunch at the apartments most days. Basic food, reasonable prices and on the most quite tasty. Pizza's were lovely and hubby liked his fry up most days. Kids at omlettes, chicken burgers and beans on toast. We often had special requests as my youngest can't have cow's milk. They were quite happy to swap things around etc. When we arrived they asked us just to pay the bill at the end of the day which was fine. Sometimes we forgot but there was no problem in paying the next day or day after! We did know roughly how much we were spending and can't say they tried to fiddle us as I think other folk have said.

Anyway, would highly recommend the Life Apartments if you are looking for somewhere to chill out and relax. Basic accommodation but clean. Staff fantastic. Location great if you want to get away from it all but still be within walking distance of the hustle n bustle. We will definately be going back to Icmeler and will probably choose the Life Apartments again.

Room Tip: We were in the 2nd block on the 2nd floor. Quiet at night and nice during the day as you could stil...

Just returned from three weeks at the Life Apartments, what can we say another brilliant holiday with Alev, Speedie and the boys. Everything was "nay bother" to them. The rooms are huge with two balconies, spotlessly clean and with all the kitchen equipment that you could ask for. The poolside and bar are laid out very well with plenty off room to move around and the theme nights at the poolside cafe are second to none. We would not hesitate to recomend the Life apartments as the perfect venue for a great holiday. See you next year.

We have only visited and not stayed here yet but will do in the near future. There are about 25 apartments and they are all spacious and light. They all have ice boxes in the fridge which many places don't have and toasters. Trivial you may think but if you like ice in your drinks or toast to breakfast these are invaluable. Alive, the owner is great and she has the famous Speedy from Faber as her manager. We've drank and eaten there and it is great. Up a small hill it is well worth the 10 minute walk up the road and there is always a lovely breeze when you get there. Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Cannot comment on the sleep quality as we've not slept there yet but all rooms have 2 balconies...
