The best Turkish Hamam experience in icmeler!
Ive been visiting Icmeler for almost 6 years and it took me this long to find the right hamam.
This is anything but a 'tourist experience' i.e. no annoying employees trying to take/sell pictures of you every minute, no 'fiddling' whilst being washed and no overpriced nonsense.
Although you pay more than the average hamam, this is what you get in return:

1. A warm welcoming - straight away you are offered tea/water and a small tour of the hamam.
2. You get given bathrobes instead of the small skimpy red and white "towels".
3. A private experience - during your session, there will be no other tourists around, just whoever you booked for.
4. An incredible Turkish bath! The employees are very thorough, not rushed and are calm and collective. They take a good half hour to wash you and take your needs into consideration.
5. An incredible massage! The massage is sublime - again, they really take their time and dont rush you. You get to pick your own massage oils and the massage rooms are clean and quiet.
6. A very customer-service orienated boss - Ahmet Toprak. Very polite and friendly man who is very accommodating.

Overall, a very pleasant experience and definite value for money. Medical and anti-stress massages were amazing - my back definitely felt better after having gone here. Thats something I can say for other Hamams I have visited.
If you DO prefer an touristy experience where they hassle you every 5 min and only care for you for your money then this isnt the place for you :-)

After going to Icmeler for 12 yrs & staying in all different hotels & apartments we found this hotel. we booked for 3 weeks in June.Myself, husband 7 two kids aged 4 & 6. All I can say is what a lovely hotel. Staff go out of their way to help you, rooms are lovely and clean, nice and spacious. The pool is large with loads of sunbeds and two kids pools. Food was very nice, always something to eat & loads of it! It is in a brilliant location, right in the centre of Icmeler but up a side street that is very quiet. Night club next door but you can not hear a sound from it. I would definately recommend this hotel & will certainly be going back!

This is a great hotel. The rooms are large, bright and airy with a small balcony. They looked as if they had just been decorated. Everywhere is clean and the staff are very helpful. There was a good selection of well presented food and a choice of seating inside and out. The pool is large and there are plenty of sunbeds. The Nergis is in an excellent location with everything close by. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the entertainment team. They play loud house/club music at the pool during the day which means it's hard to relax or concentrate on a book. They hardly ever speak English and all the entertainment is centred around audience participation type evenings. The other thing is that the bar staff serve gin and tonic in small tumblers rather than long glasses and they kept running out of slices of lemon!!! (Only a minor thing but very irritating). We went out most nights to a bar called Kapmar Bar just round the corner. It is run by a lovely couple called Ali and Una. They have good entertainment there and all the staff are lovely people and great fun. The Utopia Spa in the hotel Nergis is fantastic and very cheap. I had a great programme of treatments which took over 2 hours and it was only £25. The staff in the spa are very well trained and very friendly making the whole experience a very pleasant and relaxing one. There is also a shop in the hotel which is very well stocked with cigarettes, newspapers and gifts. If there is anything you want that they don't have they will try to get it for you for the next day. Icmeler itself is a great resort with a good mix of bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is lovely although can get crowded. Overall a fantastic holiday and a great hotel. I would definitely go back to this hotel and resort.

This Hotel makes a good base to see the surounding area. The hotel staff were excellent and quickly sorted out any of our requests infact the even sorted out issues with our booking due to problems by Broadway Travel forgetting to book our accomodation. The hotel was very clean the food was very good but a bit repetative although there was a lot of choice.
The hotel all in all was pretty good and the bar staff were excellent.
The Massage was also the best I have had and worth every penny.
The only grumbles I have is that the town of Icmeler was pretty expensive and the market was a bit of a con.We opted to shop in Marmaris instead and found the MGM stores were very reasonable.

Last minute deal to this hotel, with my grandmother, granddad and sister..
First impressions was alright, outside didnt look to bad nor did the reception area or pool area.
Check in was a bit slow but there was loads of people checking in at the same time.

The porter help us take are stuff to are room through a lift by the stairs. we had to get to are rooms in a different lift as the lift couldnt hold to many people. We got outside before the porter did, as we waited outside our rooms for the porter to come up with are suitcases we heard banging coming from the stair area, this was coming from the lift as the porter got stuck...
After waiting 10mins the porter finally got out the lift and brought us to are rooms.
The rooms wasnt too bad decorated but we never had a balcony just window that didnt really open well. the curtains was filthy.

My nan and pops room was right across the corridor from us.. which we later discovered that you didnt need a key to open it from the outside it literally opened on its own.. i spos you dont go on holiday to spend time in your room. so for sleeping in they wasnt to bad.

Food wasnt to bad either nor was the drinks, we did go all inclusive so we had all are meals in the hotel.

getting sunbeds in the more was a slight problem as everyone reserved sun beds with towels so you had to get up early to get one... which wasnt a big issue with us.

Beach was literally round the corner, beach was shingled but the water was beautiful and had loads of little fishies swimming around in it. though if you stood in the sea still for too long you could feel the fish attacking your feet. Pool was lovely and entertainment could of been better.

walk through market was right outside the hotel, watch out if your going as a girl group or with girls the men there can be very crude and disgusting, one man asked me to meet up with him later on the night to have some "fun" yes my granddad wasnt at all impressed and did slightly go mental at the man. Defiantly haggle in the shops though defiantly get prices down. and do try boat trips there amazing .

There is a photography man who walks around the pool all day and night trying to get you to have photos, he will keep on to you so expect that.. we did tell him we would have them done at the end of our holiday and he did leave as long after a while, we managed to go home without having any done! but be aware the man will come and sit next to you whilst your sunbathing to try get you to have photos done so if you dont want to make it clear your not interested.

Entertainment stage area is on one side of the pool but if your sitting down to watch then you have to sit at the other side of the pool. you have to sit on sun beds or the outside restaurant chairs to watch it.

Holiday over all wasnt to bad, some points could of been better but for a last min deal couldnt complain too much.

we stopped here a couple of years ago booking through the company 'gold trail' (Which went bust)

when travelling though marmaris and icmeler, we was hoping not to stop at each hotel on the route in. each seemed to be worse than the last. we eventually stopped at this 'deluxe' hotel.

to save time...

we got put in the annex building accross the street, so every time we wanted to go for food we had to leave the hotel and walk a short distance. not the end of the world admitted but still an annoyance. although after 2 days we decided to eat out every day, money well spent on all inclusive.
all drinks watered down.
advertised as room safes the safes where actually in the lobby so you can have an audience when locking away your valuables.

pay per use air con, although if you just break into the unit you can use it manually without renting out the remote control.

appaling views of industrial space at rear of hotel, with a balcony that couldnt fit a chair on.
no first aid kit, after i cut my hand i asked for a plaster or bandage. ''i am sorry i just gave away my last plaster''

all in all i will not be going back to this hotel, this town, this area or this country. cheers turkey.

Room Tip: choose another hotel. in a different town
