We decided to book the Doruk after reading so many positive reviews and we were not disappointed. We booked a sea view suite as sometimes Turkish hotel rooms are on the small side. It did not cost much extra but was well worth it. Essentially it was a one bedroom apartment without cooking facilities (which we did not want anyway) but with a fridge, kettle and cups provided so we could have coffee in the room. The suite was immaculate, cleaned every day with fresh towels provided and with new en suite facilities which were lovely and with constant hot water. The beds were comfortable although initially there was no top sheet just a blanket. However the chambermaid was very happy to provide us with an additional sheet. We had a large balcony with stunning views over the bay. Breakfast was pretty standard with eggs, sausages, cold meat, cheese and various fruits. We didn't dine in the hotel as we like to try different restaurants in the evening. The staff of this family run hotel were very friendly and helpful and even let us keep the suite until 3.00 free of charge as we had an evening flight home. Finally the location is absolutely ideal, fifty yards from the beach, in a slightly quieter street but very close to the shops, restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend the Doruk Hotel and am absolutely confident you will not be disappointed.More
