A wonderful stay! Unlike the fat lady that never got her last supper and was just as rude to the receptionist, this is a wonderful hotel. Staff and holiday rep’s were second to none. Room was cleaned every day and as long as you don’t mind trying the local food the restraint served ample meals with at least 3 main choices. Would defiantly go back. Wonderful holiday location and hotel with great staff.

Beautiful hotel, lovely location but really needs better management . We spent two weeks at the Fantasia and I wished the first week had been like the second ..They didn't seem to understand your room should be cleaned before 5-6 pm ,one night we got in at 8pm from a great boat trip expecting to have a quick shower and catch dinner before it closed at 9pm to find our room hadn't been done no clean towels etc . Went down to complain at reception to be told our room had been done !!! It was just silly things like this that you don't expect to have to complain about that was annoying .After asking four times if our room could be cleaned before 12pm success and no problem .The management just didn't seem to have a clue they were more interested in stopping guests bringing in their own water than actually sorting out any problems. They actually left a note in a couples room to tell them to report to reception then told them they had dirtied a hand towel and would need to pay for it !!!The woman had washed her face and some make up had come of on the towel. They caused problems insted of sorting them
We were lucky reading other reviews as the food problem had been sorted out when we were there and the food was lovely best hotel food we have had especially the dinner. Dining room could be a bit more organised as you had to get waiter's attention for water or bring your wine apart from the waitress Ayten she was brill worked the hardest nothing was a problem infact we thought they should promote her and the whole hotel would run smoothly.
We would go back as they did seem to have a better idea of running a hotel in our 2nd week and the interior is beautiful and spotless as was the pool area .

Our holiday at this hotel was booked with thomson flight leaving gatwick late saturday night. What nobody bothered to tell us was whilst we we waiting at gatwick that saturday the dinner that we were entitled to was being served!!!! Knowing about this little rip off would've saved us the embarassment of being treated like criminals when we tried to have what we thought was our seventh dinner. The manager unavailable, the receptionist rude and unhelpful ( look laydeee etc ). Also no complimentary room available to shower/change in inspite of our pick up being at 22.40. Use of spa communal shower which flooded and was unlockable was the offer. Or pay 10euro per hour for our room but only till 5 over that full room price for the night. So beware if you're on a package to this hotel coz once you check out you're rubbish to them even though your holiday hasn't ended!!

Stunning hotel in a stunning location, what more can I say. As I've already mentioned, the food on the 16th when we arrived was very poor, only perhaps 2*. The hotel brought 2 new chefs in from their 5* hotel on the 22nd May to sort it and sort it they did. If the whole 10 days had been as the last 4 then food rating would have been 4*
The hotel was renovated in 2010 and the fabric is excellent and all areas are kept spotless. The pool area is small but is nicely landscaped. Breakfast and the evening meal can be taken outside on a large patio area. The hotels private beach is only approx 5 yards away and has free towels, mattrasses and sun loungers. All bedrooms and corridors have carpets so the hotel is very quiet
One tip, the transfer from Dalaman airport can take up to 3 hours so we would advise taxi transfers, well worth the extra. If you take the coach transfers expect a 'comfort stop' even at 4am!!
There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Icmeler but thankfully the Fantasia is approx 5-10 minutes walk from them but you can hear some music from the nearest. As all music stops at midnight it is not really a problem.
To sum up, a lovely hotel in a really lovely location. It's true to say that in early May it had food problems but now hopefully that is now past. If you are going to the Fantasia in Icmeler shortly, enjoy!

Stayed at this hotel last week, it is a beautiful hotel and in a good location for both Icemeler and Marmaris.

Rooms were comfortable and large shower in bathroom. Only had 4 coathangers in cupboard and 1 pillow each (soon rectified). Views from some rooms are spoilt by very tall palm trees which is shame as you look out on a lovely view of sea and coastline.

Swimming pool was hardly used as it was very cold, so was better to use beach opposite and swim in sea.

Very limited television channels in rooms, only english channel is BBC News 24 which was a shame, in this day and age you would have expected more satellite channels.

The dining room was pleasant but did not seem to be able to open on time, every evening all guests were waiting to enter and kept waiting sometime 15 mins beyond time set for opening. The food was awful the first week, but there was some slight improvement the second week, but considering there was a plentiful supply of fresh vegetables and fruit in the local markets, we saw none of this, had virtually no vegetables the whole holiday and very limited fruit. Considering they had brits last year you would have thought they could cater better. The stable menu seemed to be rice, pasta and meatballs. Breakfasts were scrambled egg or hard boiled eggs. It did seem to be very geared up for the German visitors however with plenty of cold meats, cheeses,. The salads were OK but the desserts were all very sickly, nothing savoury at all. Overall food was very bland and boring.

Arrived at hotel after a long long transfer, upon arrival was thoroughly impressed with the hotel, beautiful views over the sea and spotlessly clean.
We were allocated our rooms 211, 212 and 214, lovely views over pool and sea.
we booked full board basis over a year ago and we're advised that this has now ceased, so we were served dinner which included soup, salad, choice of fish or chicken and a sweet, i suppose you could say this was just satisfactory.

I have got to say the food really lets this hotel down, breakfast at times was very very poor, potato croquettes, diced potatoes in some sort of sauce, urgghh, scrambled egg occasionally which was always undercooked runny and cold. Evening meal was the same we always struggled to eat something, usually just finished up eating the soup and bread.

All of the above was brought to the attention of the thomsons rep day after arrival and she said she would speak to management which i believe she did because for 1 day things improved but after that back to normal, cold cold drab food which for the price we all paid was not acceptable.

The Fantasia is a nice hotel although smaller than those we usually stay at. The rooms are well finished having good shower cubicles and the sea view is pleasant. The excellent promenade just outside the hotel leading to Icmeler Resort centre one way or Marmaris the other, is ideal if you like us enjoy a pleasant walk.
The food at the Hotel was rather bland, the cooked breakfast section seemed to consist of unrecognisable strips of meat and vegetables cooked together on most days, the on;ly alternative being boiled eggs but there was a cold section with fruit and limited cereals, however the evening menu was better. I suppose this is a draw back of staying in a smaller hotel (70 rooms).
The head chef was dismissed during our stay so perhaps the menu has been improved, if not the management need to consider the tastes of their customers and provide some european standard dishes such as bacon and fried eggs.
The domestic staffing levels appear to be minimal as the maid on our floor started one end of the floor at 9am each day, finally getting to our room which was the last on the floor at around 5.30pm not the most convenient time as thisalways seemed to co- incide with us retiurning after a day out.
The Hotel swimming pool is in the shade of the hotel so it was little used by the guests during our stay.( last year at another hotel in Turkey I was able to swim every day)
Summary, a nice hotel where we had a pleasant stay but we did eat out several times.

Room Tip: Would suit older travellers.
