after spending 2 wks at this hotel 14th-28th july 2014.. The hotel is great and we spent a relaxing holiday. The rooms are well finished the hotel and grounds are well kept they are always cleaning. Our rooms were cleaned every day and clean towels every day.The food was excellent and they catered for all nationalities and always something different on every day. In fact the food was too good i dread stepping on the scales in the morning.Staff are all friendly and cant do enough for you. The entertainment was good too and the kids club staff were excellent our little one loved it.You have a private beach and can do plenty of water sports if u want. You are very central to both marmaris and icmeler. Snack bar serves from 12 to 6 doing pizzas sandwiches burgers and spaghetti bolognaise. You also have free bottled water. Definately cant fault this hotel and we enjoyed it so much we will be booking again for next year We loved the fact that the hotel and grounds were so spacious and relaxing. You are situated right inbetween marmaris and icmeler and its cheap and easy to get to either resort..

Room Tip: most rooms lead to the pool areas. But rooms 400 to early 700 are closer to the main hotel building

We stayed at this hotel in 2012 and loved every second of it and all the staff were fantastic especially Speedy and Can!
We cannot wait to return in 8 short weeks. We are coming back with 3 adults and 2 children and know we will have an amazing time yet again!
Couldn't rate this hotel any better!
Does anyone know where about in the hotel complex the family rooms are located as last year we had 3 normal rooms and this time we are booked for one family room.

Can't wait!

Me and my family have just returned from an 11 night break yesterday, and i would like to thank the hotel for a great holiday.

Food

The breakfest menu was similar eveyday we ate, but plenty on offer for keep a varied diet ( fruit, ceral, fried).

At lunch we did not visit the main dinning hall as you can grab a burger, pizza down near pine bar in your swimming gear. They serve until 4, so plenty of time to let your breakfest settle.

Diner time was a real treat as there is so much on offer, with different themed foods everyday. There is also kiddies buffet for the basics to keep them happy (early serving from 1830) like pasta, chicken nuggets, chips etc.

Drinks

The lager on offer is efes which was tastes fine, free up ontil 2400hrs. If your a spirit drinker not all are free, so you may want to check this out before you go, and consider packing a bottle of your favourite malibu or barcardi.

The location of the hotel is fantastic with two resorts within walking distance either side of you. We spent a few nights outside the hotel, and found the nearby resorts inexpensive for food & drinks. It nice not to be secluded in an all inclusive hotel.

The rooms are a little basic, but didnt spend much time in them, so wasnt really that bothered. We stayed in a room starting with 7, and we could hear the noise from the nearby hotel. This was not a big problem as it did not prevent us, or our children sleeping, and it added a bit of atmosphere if you had a drink on the balcony.

There are 3 pools which on site, 2 larger pools and a kiddies pool. You'll have to be an early riser if you want to spend your day in the sun on a sunbed next to them (0800). There are 3 water slides which are not great, but they kept the kids entertained for a few hours.

The staff are the most welcoming and friendly people you could wish for. All the staff (waiters, bar staff, cleaners, speedy) are great with the kids, they always try putting a smile on their face.

We didnt get too much involved in the entertainment side at the hotel. We went to the mini disco with the kids, then generally relaxed at one of the bars for a few drinks to see the evening out.

To summarise you have all you need at the hotel for a great holiday. Dont let the wasps put you off as they merely just pests, and i didnt see anyone get stung. They are only a problem if you leave unfinished soft drinks around as they have a bit of a sweet tooth. If you fancy a boat trip, go see jimmy boy just along the walk way near the sea front of the hotel. Lazy day is a cheap day out ( £9 adults, kids free) which includes lots of dips in the sea at different locations. Fab day with lunch included. Also, dont bother with the mud baths from this location. We spent around 7 hours stuck on a boat and the mud baths are really not worth the pain of travelling.

Enjoy your trip!!! I wish we were just starting our stay again ;0(

just returned from Yazici Mares
WOW
Where can i start. The place and setting is glorious, food stupendous (anyone saying otherwise really haven't got a clue) the scenery is second to none and the staff are in the main very very hospitable and charming.
Went with my family of 2 girls and met some great people, and enjoyed best sun in the med. The Boat trip around the vicinity is truly great and the dolphin park is pretty cosmic. My 13 year old had an unforgettable experience swimming with a 12 year old bottlenose which will be hard to top.
Ask for the very charming guest relations team, really they are fab and a big thank you to Asli for being so charming and Serkan the lifeguard, A true professional!!
Truly a all round amazing holiday.
Loved every minute and found it hard to leave. Will return again.

Room Tip: choose the flats away from the main block..fab

The hotel was excellent, was very clean and staff can always be seen cleaning up and wiping down ensuring the high standards are maintained. The maid service provides daily clean sheets and towels. There is a wide variety of food which was always very tasty and I am sure something can be found for all. The fruit was lovely and the sweets whilst a little repeaditive were also tasty. The pizza and burgers available at lunch times were particularly good.

The entertainments team were very good the only criticism I could make was that we were a family with a 12 and 13 year old which weren't really catered for in the entertainment It was vased mostly around younger kids then adults.

There was an issue with honey bees around the pool which a lot of people thought were wasps but if you left them alone They didn't bother you. The wasps mentioned in previous reviews are in the restaurant area on an evening only could become a problem however in our experience it was inconvenient at times but something you become accustomed to whenoutside dinning. The fact that you are in a woodland environment you expect a certain amount of insects.

The staff couldn't do enough to help you and Kadir in the restaurant as a previous review said made our holiday he was always very helpful and polite ensuring our dining experience was the best it could be. Kadir is a credit to the company.

Both pool areas were very good however the relaxing pool water was very cold by early afternoon. Both our children loved the slides and spent a fair bit of time using them.

We all had an amazing time and are looking forward to returning next year.

All previous reviews are correct so not a great deal more to add.

We where allocated room 774 but if you have young children this will be a sleepless holiday for you, the neighbouring hotels late night bar is situated only metres away and it goes on until 0200 hours. After two nights we got a move to 548 but that was only thanks to the concierge manager Hectar.
Avoid all rooms starting with a 7.

Loads of wasps in the restaurant area and around the pool, I did see a number of mobile phones on the dining tables with an app giving off a beeping sound. No wasps around them so may be with a download before you go.

All staff where great with the kids especially Speedy so thanks to him.

Meals start and finish at the allocated times, don't be late as they are very keen to clear up.

I and others question the star rating of the hotel, no more than a 3*

Enjoy your holiday

We booked our holiday as a last minute deal and was offered this hotel as a replacement by Thomas Cook as the hotel we initially booked (and paid for!!!) had been oversubscribed. We were advised it was an upgrade of our 4* choice hotel in Icmeler. Turns out it wasn't. On arrival all was well, the rooms allocated smoothly and were nice.

The food was so disappointing.. Everything was mush. The fruit was tasteless. The pastries were tasteless. Nothing had flavour. The fried eggs were undercooked as there was the stringy, clear slime/gel on the tops. The scrambled eggs were slop and not the consistency expected of a scrambled egg. Lunch was not much different to breakfast and dinner was not much different to lunch. It was horrible each and every day. We started to dread meal times.

The 'main' pool and tin of sardines springs to mind. Very claustraphobic. We enjoyed the 'relax' pool. This was much better. More roomy.

Throughout our stay whislt around the pool and at mealtimes we were indundated by wasps. Our Thomas Cook rep even knew what a problem they were as he commented on it. My daughter got stung. A friends child was stung 3 times. All you ever saw at meal times were people wafting away wasps.

The hotel itself is a nice enough building and the rooms were suitable for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept clean and tidy and the views from the hotel (we had sea view) were gorgeous. A trip for a Turkish Bath at the Buddha Spa is a MUST!!

Our main issues with our 10 day stay was the standard of food. It really was awful. To summarise 4 mornings we skipped breakfast. 2 nights we ate out for tea. The next issue was the wasps. They were everywhere. I feel that the hotel need to address these issues.

The staff and hotel itself were as good as expected. The weather was glorious and my daughter loved the Thomas Cooks kids club. Laura, Daryl, Andy and Michelle were fantastic!!!!!! She loved her chocolate massage at the Buddha Spa too.

I would rate the hotel 3* and based on the food, this to be very generous indeed.

The hotel would have cost us an extra £400 if we booked it out of choice but given the cock up from the word go by Thomas Cook we did not have to pay due to the oversubscription error. All I can say is thank goodness.

Room Tip: No lifts in accomodation away from main building. Good sea view from our room (571) but furthest aw...
