“great budget hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2013

The siesta hotel was basic but for a 3* it was what you would expect. The rooms were on the small side but as we were only sleeping in them it was more than adequate. We were on the 3rd floor and the view from our balcony was fantastic. We found the room and hotel to be scrupulously clean, we had fresh towels and bedding every day.
The hotel is situated close to all amenities and there are many restaurants and bars near by. The beach is about a 15 minute walk. Just around the corner is a booking place where you can book excursions and I would highly recommend booking here with Ozzy, hes a great bloke and so friendly and helpful.
We went all inclusive but if we stayed here again we probably would just do b&b as there is such a lot of choice, and if like us you want to explore Icemeler you will find that you don't take full advantage of the all inclusive. The food was average, some days not so great but the staff are very accommodating and will make something else for you if you don't like what is on offer. I would definitely recommend taking your own teabags as Turkish tea is an acquired taste I think :)
The kitchen and bar staff were fantastic and really made our stay at the siesta thoroughly enjoyable. We met some fantastic people here and it really makes us want to go back.
Overall this was an amazing holiday and we would recommend it to anyone. Turtle beach, lazy day boat trip and mud bath were fantastic trips so if you are going try and squeeze them in, see Ozzy :)

We booked to stay in the siesta for one week we stayed one night and walked out of the dump first thing the next day. There were bare light bulbs in the rooms if you could call them rooms 8x6ft cupboards more like it.i have never seen anything like it the door to the room was a bit of plywood that didn't actually fit as you could see the light in the hall all round the edges the beds were rock hard you had to run round under the shower to get wet!!! We went to the Bonjour and what a fabulous hotel.the people who speak highly of the siesta must live in hovels if they think its great God help them they are easy pleased.

I stayed in this hotel last year from the 6 - 20th august and I came with my Auntie, Uncle and cousin and I was dead excited for the holiday. when arriving to our hotel I wasn’t very excited about what I saw it was very small and everything is green ha ha then they were the spiral staircase which I was always scared of falling down but once we unpacked and settled in I couldn’t of loved the hotel more, all the waiters and hotel staff are ever so friendly and kind even if they are pushing you in the pool ha ha. The food was great and on some nights they even did CHICKEN ha ha just kidding that was there nearly every night. :P. All the food was different so it catered to everyone’s taste buds etc. In the morning they were basics scrambled eggs, beans but if you asked the waiters they'd make you a lovely omelette or fried egg etc.

I enjoyed this hotel so much I’m actually coming back this year. woop woop.

for all the moaners etc, it is not a 5 star hilton, costs you lot less a night than a travelodge with the added benefits of 3 meals+snacks & drinks, no enterternainment as such but most guests happy to chill, chat socialise to the back ground music played at the bar, food was the usual hotel standard of plenty fresh veg, salad & fruit with couple hot dishes always something to eat, fried eggs or omellete made to order in morning if requested also nice big mugs for hot drinks, staff overall friendly & happy to help (rescued my shorts off lower floor roof when blew off balcony) quite a few returning elderly & people with disabilities there, who the staff assisted with any problems they had, in our opinion it's little things like that give a good impression, hope to go back next september, which for me & my wife that does not usually happen! plenty of reasonable priced bars & restaurants in resort, the turkish delight is just round corner from hotel they do very good steak & you have the entertainment value of captain jack sparrows clone who is highly amusing as he parades round the restaurant a wasted talent! also good place to eat is pier 15 down on the promenade where guest of the hotels juniper/siesta get 25% discount off drinks & food with a nice sea front setting, go see ozzy couple doors on from the turkish delight to book turkish baths, trips etc, good prices & free trips depending on how many you book, chico hairdressers next to him for good turkish shave. and mummet other side of ozzy for the good prices on t shirts & designer wear (genuine???mmm) siesta & juniper are opposite sides of quiet road & as sister hotels you can use the fascilities of either, juniper in my opinion has a better bigger pool with more sun beds round it, in our opinion it is a good base close to plenty shops & restaurants, not too far to beach & should suit people although not much for children apart from swimming pools & pool table in lounge not much else for them

We booked 3 rooms and found them to be small and basic but very clean. The bathrooms had been refurbished and were good with powerful showers. The breakfast were ok and the staff would accomodate any requests. The staff on reception were not very friendly and the pool area is small and grubby with limited amounts of sunbeds. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area but a bit of a walk to the beach.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the hotel pool

Me and my gf visited here from 10th august to 24th august. We didn't expect too much as we had read the reviews prior to visit but our holiday was so much more than we could have expected and that was thanks to this fantastic hotel! Although only a small hotel, the atmosphere is almost family like and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Yes, the rooms are not as big as other hotels, but who needs a big room unless you are going to stay in there all day/night? They are enough to wash, get ready and sleep! They are very clean and were maintained throughout our stay. The balcony's are a nice size too! The all inclusive food and drinks are more than what you need and because of the low cost of the hotel, if you get bored of the food, just try the local restaurants. Turkish Delight for breakfast is delicious and Majestic Restaurant next to the canal is a fantastic family restaurant and so so cheap! Me and my gf don't really drink much so we were there more for a relaxing time and with this lovely friendly hotel you can definitely relax! The beach is just a 5-10 min walk away and Pier 15 restaurant (on the beach) are open from very early to look after Siesta/Juniper Hotel guests with a massive 25% discount off everything all day. We had lunch and dinner here a few times and it was excellent! All I can say is, don't worry about the negative reviews you read on here, those people are obviously very fussy! This is an excellent hotel with fab staff and a good choice of food/drinks. What more could you want?! We'll definitely going back, we loved our stay!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are best for a view!
