“Siesta. cheap and cheerful.”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

Just returned from Siesta hotel 29 July. Had a great time and found the hotel ok if a little bit small. the staff were all pretty friendly and only a lack of english stopped us getting to know them better. The pool is pretty small and there was a distinct lack of sunbeds the first week.Last few days was quiet so wasn't a problem then. Food was quite basic but ok . bar staff were good,Echo and Enzil especially and we sometimes used the sister hotel adjacent which is the Juniper. The pool here was a bit bigger . All in all not bad for the money and a good deal from jet2 who impressed me with transfers, checking in online and all round communications.

just back from siesta hotel in icmeler turkey, basic but clean hotel stayed here for two weeks, but would only stay here for one week next time ,as the food gets a bit bland and boring ,alright if you like chicken and chips everyday, but hey ho , cheap and cheerful, cant really ask for more, small pool . but across at the juniper hotel ,which is part of the siesta, the pool is slightly bigger, but i think the pool boys need to clean around it more often, it was that dirty one day .i took the sweeping brush and cleaned it myself. think they got the hint cause ,the next day it had been swept. most of the staff are friendly, but not all of them , over all , you get what you pay for , which is NOT 5 star, but a relaxing two weeks,(beds are hard)

im not one to moan but this hotel only had a few good things and that was the people we met and the location. The staff don't talk apart from the manager and if they do you get a nod.the food is very basic and some days you carnt eat it,who has cabbage peppers and oranges together and ask for an omelette you risk food poisoning as its raw in the middle.before you make your comment we have been Turkey for the last 7 years and this is the worst.Ozzy round the corner is brill for trips and helping over any thing, the buggy riding is a must.Peir 15 is not very nice but cupids for breakfast and meals are out of this world.this is a very basic hotel and could do with a good lick of paint and lessons how to smile .This is a hotel for couples not families

stayed 14 nights here with a friend... very basic, which we expected but also very shabby ad a bit lacking when it comes to cleanliness, if you put your towels out for changing they just get picked up and refolded, we stripped our own beds for changing as they hadn't been done for over a week but the cleaner just came in and remade it. Didn't get changed until we complained, and talking of beds, rock hard with pillows like bricks! Toilet rolls only got replaced if we tracked down the cleaner and asked for them. Balcony always had a pool of water from the air con ( which also didn't work properly for the first 4 days) Staff were often texting on their mobiles and eyeing up the young girls when their time would have been better spent changing the stained and crumpled table cloths. Pool area was very shabby and sun beds a bit tatty but unless you were up with your towel at 6 am you wouldn't get a sunbed anyway! The bar area was cramped with mostly rickety tables ( but the young bar staff were extremely hard working and pleasant) Wasn't expecting 5 star luxury but this hotel has definitely seen better days and the whole complex needs updating and a good thorough clean, food was pretty good and quite varied apart from breakfast which was rather boring! This hotel is not a hell hole and the staff aren't awful ( just unprofessional and over familiar) Reception staff varied, some were great and some down right rude. I wouldn't recommend this hotel but nor would I condemn it...My friend and I would not go back here though!
