We have been to this hotel about 20 years ago enjoyed it then & we enjoyed this time & we would be going back. The staff are brilliant very help full & nothing is a bother to them Dalma & Ramazan were very shy but once they got to know you they are lovely Natalia & Goran they run a tight ship but a happy one Chef brilliant in other word can't fault the staff or the hotel

We spent 2 weeks at the Navy and had a lovely holiday. We have stayed many times and all I can say is that it just keeps improving. The staff are friendly and helpful there is nothing they wont do to make your stay a happy one. We travel with my parents who have mobility problems so we always stay in the main building as it has a lift although the other building has had a lift installed. The Navy is a great little hotel with a great big heart and we look forward to returning
very soon. Thanks to you all you are very special people,

Room Tip: overlooking the garden bar

I have never written a review before. As far as I am concerned a hotel is just somewherre to put your head down when you're not on the beach or exploring your resort and the surrounding areas. I still feel this way to an extent but WHEN we return to Icmeler in the not too distant future we will most definitely be checking in to the Navy. The room was comfortable with air conditioning as standard and a safe and key for a small returnable deposit. It was cleaned daily to a very good standard and often we'd return to a nice bit of towel art which is always a nice touch. We generally spent our days at the beach which is a flat 5 minute walk. On the days we went to Marmaris and Turunc we had a spell by the pool which was smashing. In June the sun always seemed to be quite high so shade was sought from the parasols provided with the sunbeds. As it was our fist time in Icmeler, we had a lot of restaurants to test out. The only food we managed to try from the hotel was our breakfast every day (which was smashing and set us up for days of beach sleeping) and a plane pizza which was delicious. Approximately a five seat radius on the plane caught a whiff of it and we're so depressed when I boshed the lot. I guess this is all fairly standard and so far you are wondering why this place is sooooo good. It's down to Captain Ghokan, his lovely missus and their stellar crew. Every single member of staff knows exactly how to make you feel at home in their own departments. Holiday there again? I want a job there! For somewhere to run like a well oiled machine with a relentless work ethic yet such a seemingly relaxed atmosphere seems impossible. The team at Hotel Navy walks this tightrope with ease. Providing you with a level of service and attention that makes you wonder why you would ever holiday anywhere else. The friendships forged, generally through late night world cup games, are one of many highlights from this holiday and we wouldn't think twice about returning! I've already said all of the team were fantastic but I simply must shout out Hakan from the bar, Alex from brekkie and Ata who worked both. There is a lot of hard workers here who we didn't get to know through being out all day I got to know the lads in the bar particularly well through the football. They are really genuine, smashing guys and they graft so hard to ensure you are comfortable. Heaven forbid you take your empties back to the bar! You're on holiday! If you get half a chance you'll be lucky. They're extremely attentive and whether it be busy or quiet they never stop working. Yet again, the balance is perfect due to a quite stealthy and respectful nature. The whole place has lots to offer. Beautiful beaches, a track all the way to Marmaris which makes for a lovely 6 mile round trip running path and some splendid eateries. Can't wait to return and get reacquainted with our Turkish and Ukrainian friends!

My partner and I stayed here when we visited Ichmeler for a week. This was both out first times in Turkey and we didn't really know what to expect.
The hotel itself was clean and the staff where friendly. We have seen and read others reviews & photos that the hotel had a maid who made dolls out of towels then got clothes out of guests wardrobes and put them on the towel figures. This made me and my partner feel a bit uneasy so therefore we did not hang our clothes in the wardrobe. I had one dress hanging in there and my partner had a jacket. Luckily for us the maid didn't not make people out of the towels so that was a plus point for us, some people may like this but would have liked it.
We stayed in the hotel as bed and breakfast, it said that it was a full Turkish breakfast, in all honesty we didn't know what to expect and we had it one morning and that was it. Turkish breakfasts are just not for us, there was no fresh fruit it's just a selection of different things such as toast/bread Jams, salad and olives. So we ate out every morning.
We used the pool facilities at the hotel and they where very clean and well kept, the pool was a nice temperate too as it was very hot in the sun!
We ate at the pool bar a couple of times and the food there was good and very fresh!
There was a hotel cat that wondered around and he was so friendly and cute always was up for a having a fuss it made the place feel a bit more homely!
In the room itself there was a leaflet telling you about the hotel check out times etc which was useful, although on the sheet it said breakfast was till 7am - 10am but when you went for breakfast the board outside said 7.30-9.30 which was a little confusing!
I would stay here again but would go for room only.

Over the recent passed I have had the dubious pleasure of experiencing various hotels. ... How nice to be able to give a 100% rating for this family owned and run hotel. A five minute walk from the beautiful Icmeler beach this place is a little diamond. Immaculately clean everywhere with Staff who's sole purpose is to care for their guests. The meals served at breakfast (self-service) and lunch and dinner are as good if not better than any of the restaurants in this beautiful place. (And considerably cheaper). From the owner/manager to the cleaners everyone was helpful, friendly and kind. This kind of small hotel restores your belief in good accommodation at reasonable prices. The best rooms are definitely the ones that overlook the bay....insist on one of these for a brilliant holiday. A special thanks to the owner who did much more than he needed to do for us. Thankyou. We will not forget your generosity, understanding and kindness. 5star as far as we are concerned. *****

Lovely location near beach. Lots of boat excursions & others so accessibility to activities good. Hotel itself: clean, friendly staff who were very obliging. Cocktails at the hotel are better value for money than other bars (they actually put enough alcohol in the drink). The pool if fine with recliners around but it's a little small. Food let down this hotel so bread & breakfast option is better as there are plenty of good eateries around. There is a lift to the top floors, max 3 floors. The garden bar is very comfortable as is the reception area. Even better if the food was interesting hence the recommendation to go bed & breakfast as many returners do.

Room Tip: There are rooms that include an air conditioner.

Just got back from our fab holiday. Many thanks to Natalia and her husband Gok plus all the staff especially Ken the chef. Everything was perfect as always, food superb, rooms lovely and clean, great service all round. This our fourth time at the Navy Hotel and we can't wait to go back next year. A little gem in Icmeler.
Many thanks to you all xxx
