This year in July was our first year to Icmeler, and we stayed here at the Babadan apartments. We had an attic room which didn't spoil our holiday but it wasn't ideal as the bedroom ceiling was quite low, luckily i'm not very tall so i was left with that side of the room lol :) we have booked today to go back next year in july as the staff were brill and the location of the apartments is perfect :)

Room Tip: request a bottom/middle floor room maybe?

i went with my husband and daughter... it was very good but there was not any pool side entertainment except water polo now and again and some night entertainment nice clean rooms and brilliant powerful showers...the showers were quite small...but the location of the babadan is really good.. you go down a little street and everything is there. nice clean pools...nice staff.. lovely cheap food and the onsite shop is cheap aswell... sunbed situation is not very good...when i was there people actually went down at night time to put there towels down and in the morning about 4.30.. so if your going to the babadan watch out for that.

Room Tip: bottom floor pool side

just back from a great holiday here - staff are great - nothing too much trouble for them even after a 12 hour shift - 2 pools which are very clean - cheap on site shop - breakfast and dinners also cheap and good standard - only downside we had was our room - no 12 - toilet was tiny and air con only kept bedroom cool the living area was like a greenhouse.
all in all 8/10
2 minutes away from apartments was Captain Bull**it tours - he and skinny rambo are well worth a visit - his boat trip for £14 is great.

This was mine, my partners and our 2 children (1 and 7) first time at Babadan apartments. We had a great time the weather was fantastic every day, too hot some days being well in the 40s! As we had a child under 2 they placed us in an excellent room right next to the children's pool on the ground floor with a cot. The rooms are basic but they are all you need, I would recommend bringing your own plastic/paper plates as agree with other reviews these were not the best. Although food is cheap and good in Icmeler especially in the Babadan so we ate out for most meals anyway and only really used the room to sleep in. The room and hotel itself was very clean our bins were emptied every day and our sheets and towels were changed every 3 days. I find it difficult to sleep anywhere but my own bed, but I honestly found I slept really well here. Yes the air conditioning was a little noisy but id rather that that be uncomfortable because of the heat all night.

The staff were all so welcoming and helpful great with the children and we found ourself returning to the hotel bar each night. The location of the hotel is very good just off the main streets and only a short 5-10 mins walk to the beach front. The resort of Icmeler itself is excellent loads of shops, restaurants and some good bargains to be had as long as you haggle!

I'm usually ready to come home after 11 nights from my holiday but I really could have stayed here longer and the fact so many people return year after year to Babadan speaks volumes. We would definatly like to return here again some time in the future :D

4th year at the Babadan and again we had a fantastic time thanks to Filiz Mustafa and all the guys too many to mention. Beautifully clean room, excellent pools which where both cleaned every morning, lovely food in the reasturant and that personal touch where the staff always go that extra mile to help if you need anything. The Babadan makes our holiday so specia,l its like visiting family and we will be going again next year...unless we win the lottery and then I would be back there tomorrow.

Room Tip: If you want a nice clean central accommodation the Babadan is a good choice

Stayed here for 7 nights in July, was allocated a pool view room as requested which was a good start. Upon first impressions of the apartments we was impressed, pool looked nice and children's splash pool lovely *if it was clean*
the rooms were not small not big so just ok for a week, I'm never fussy when it comes to rooms as all we do is sleep and eat breakfast in them after all,
however the beds were so hard it's unreal lol!! Killed my back and ribs and did not sleep to well, the showers are so small it's quite uncomfortable and grout needs re doing to clear all the grime out of them, also a shower head holder would of been useful but it wasn't to bad just resting it on the taps.
Fear the wake of the cockerel starts early hours of the morning and goes all night long! If you are fortunate enough to be in the bedroom with the aircon on all night you may only hear it a little, if you are doomed to the very uncomfortable downward slanted sofa bed then I feel your pain as not only will the bed itself kill you, you will then be woken up by "cock a doodle doooo" a few hours later!
The food in the on site restaurant is lovely no complaints at all, please watch out for the new lad from marmaris bugging you for the turkish night! We arrived on a Thursday and we're pestered into paying over 100 lira for turkish night that was taking place the night before we was due to leave, we explained we had only arrived 2 hours ago after a very long day traveling and did not wish to be pestered nor did we want to pay for somthing in advance we didn't know what we would be doing in a weeks time, he then proceeded to irritate us and pulled out a chair and joined our table! !!by this point my patience was running thin, he continued to sit and doodle in his note pad until I then asked him to leave as we wished to be left in peace.
The pool was nice and the kids loved the splash pool however I do not believe it was cleaned out once as I was sat outside from 6am every morning and the same bits of bugs and leaves seemed to float in there all week,
We reported a little floater in the pool thanks to a nice parent who chose not to follow the rules on the board next to the pool which clearly states 'children who are not toilet trained are to wear a swim nappy at all times' we reported the poop and the first bloke came to look and found it rather amusing, he left without cleaning it out! After a half hour we reported it to a second member of staff explaining that the poo at the bottom was now spreading and the risk of infection was high! He again found it easier to ignore us and didn't even bother to lift his lazy backside off the chair to come and see, we waited another half hour and the poo still hadn't been removed!! **see picture** so by this point we reported it to the rep and explain to her tho poo can't just be fished out but the whole pool needs closing down whilst it was disinfected thoroughly, we then left for out night out, upon out return the poo was gone but the sane bits of leaves and dirt on the bottom still remained which only lead me to believe the pool was not cleaned thoroughly and the poo was just fished out.
The maid only cams 2 times in a week and the first show wasn't until 3 days after we arrived! Very unusual for turkey, the bed sheets never changed once as I recognised the same bleached spots on them after every make up, only made beds but never changed! Beware the sand paper top sheet also! No need for a turkish bath it's all inclusive with babadan bed sheets!
Icmeler itself is beautiful and so much to do, lots of pretty bars and restaurants we was spoilt for choice, food in most restaurants was lovely especially the waterfall bar and titanic.
Over all we had a brilliant holiday but would stay in a different hotel next time :)
