We’ve just returned from 10 nights at this hotel as a couple (early thirties).
Firstly if flying into Dalaman I would recommend using http://www.marmaristransfers.co.uk as they did a great job.
On arrival check-in was swift but they’d allocated us a fifth floor attic room which had a tiny balcony, I complained and the next morning we were moved without fuss.
Rooms are decent but apparently they all have twin beds pushed together rather than proper doubles except the deluxe ground floor rooms.
Air Con was good but leave you key in the slot, otherwise the room will get crazy hot during summer. Fridge stocked daily with beer/coke/water and tea/coffee making facilities.
The bathroom was lovely and big but sadly no bath and the shower does overflow and turn the room into a paddling pool if you use it for more than 10 minutes.
The food was very good I think for this price point, even the fussy eaters should always find something different to eat every day. Some things are cooked fresh in front of you which was a nice touch. The snack bar for lunch offer fresh pizza, burgers and hot dogs etc. Only one main bar but the drinks on offer are decent but get a little repetitive (the beer is Toubourg). There are other little touches like Iced Coffees, Slush drinks, ice-creams, tea/cake hour available through the day.
The pool is great but a bit deep for my Mrs, I’m 6ft and could only just stand up in it. It was a lovely temperature in July.
The beach is close but it’s a grainy dark sand and we preferred the garden areas behind the pool, there is a nice sea breeze to cool you down.
Wifi is available in some areas around the pool/lobby and we managed to get in on our balcony but the speed it very poor and just about ok for messing around on Facebook, you won’t be streaming any movies from it. The nightly entertainment ranged from boring background music to beach parties and firework displays, overall is was mostly excellent. The animation team is superb.
Although this was our first All Inclusive holiday overall I was very impressed with the Marti Le Perla, the only thing that let it down was half way through our holiday we realised the maids were regularly stealing small amounts from us as well as cigarettes and lighters etc. Overall they managed to get about £40 off us before we clocked on, which is a shame. Other than that a top holiday.
