“Honeymoon from hell”
Reviewed 21 November 2013 via mobile

My husband and I got married end of June this year after spending most of our budget on the wedding we decided to have a cheap week away. We arrived at Jupiter early in the morning we were told that we didn't have a room booked even though we had the letter proving we did eventually we got give our keys we ended up with a pokey room which you couldn't swing a cat in with two single beds even though it says on our paper work that we were on honeymoon the manager refused to move us and said that they were full and was extremely rude our rep tried to speak to him and he was rude to her also eventually our rep moved us to a new hotel and area I WOULD NOT STAY HERE DIRTY RUDE AND NOT VALUE FOR MONEY

Well tried the Juniper again to give them the benefit of doubt but OMG wished we had never bothered, the room was ok but after eight days we had to go down to reception to ask about getting clean bedding and towels they said that the bedding had been changed but marks which we noticed over the days were still on and we even put the dirty towels on the floor and these were picked up folded and put back, on two occasions the door to our room was left unlocked when we approached the manager he didn't apologise just said ok I will tell the maid when we came back from the beach the next day it was open again. The hotel may have had a lick of paint but it's the manager and staff that need a make over. I complained to Jet2 and was told that if I had gone to reception and asked for our towels to be changed more often then this would have happened it would have been nice to get them changed when they were meant to and they also said that the manager says no one reported a door being left unlocked!!!! Wrote twice and both times they have come back with the same letter but wrote a different way feel very frustrated that I am being made out to be a liar. If you go to the Juniper then go at your peril.

On arrival at the hotel and I use this term loosely we went to reception got the keys thrown at us the receptionist never even spoke wernt told what floor we were on or how to get there. When we got to the roomwe found ourselves in a pokey claustrophobic place. The hotel had been informed that we needed a light spacious room due to my wife being registered blind. The food was that bad we had to eat out if I gave it to our dog he wouldn't eat it.WHY should one have to pay to eat out when we already paid all inclusive. If one complained to the manager one was told go to another hotel. We were told by our rep that the food was brought from a sister hotel which was 4 star if that is the quality they serve then what is the point of paying 4 star when all you will get is three star quality.I strongly advice anyone to steer clear of this hotel. The owner of this place was contacted by his cousin and he was horrified at the way it was being run.I also would hope that tripadvisor get their logo removed from the front of this place it does not reflect the good work that trip advisor does.

Room Tip: steer well away of this place

What do you expect for a 3 star holiday!!
Our room was fine 2 single beds FREE air con change of towels every day and change of bed sheets every 3 days...
Hotel staff wasn't the best never spoke but how would you feel working 13 hrs a day!! Bar staff were brilliant Ahmet and engi made our holiday !! They was very pleasent and such a laugh.. But we noticed the people who sed please n thank you got served and the people who stood and moaned didn't !!
the food wasn't the best I agree and there was only soup and chicken that was nice but the food in iclemar is so cheap anyway...
The pool wasn't dirty and on a evening someone cleaned the pool.. And the berries were all over the floor but the staff carnt be there doing that all day !!

The only thing I hated about this holiday were people moaning!! They did my head in and pretty much could of ruined my holiday

If u want 5 star pay for it!!

Ps.. Enji and Ahmet keep up the good work :)

On arrival the hotel and they had no record of us even staying there. The staff in the hotel were rude and unhelpful, so after a long flight and transfer we were sat waiting to find out if we could stay in the hotel. When they finally let us stay we were given a tiny room with 3 single beds bare in mind we had now paid £1400 for this holiday and were expecting something beautiful so we slept in the room hoping things would be sorted the next day.. Upon waking we didn't even know where to go for breakfast we hadn't been told that our meals would be in the siesta hotel across the road... When we figured this out by ourselves we went across and found the food was cold and inedible and that the toaster was a hazard to anyone who used it.. The staff member in the hotel advised we use metal tongs to remove our toast from the toaster.... Safe right? Breakfast was a disaster so we decided we would go and try change rooms at which the reception manager was rude and aggressive towards us telling us we couldn't move rooms our room had gone and that he waited for no one as we were a day late he refused to help and held our passports.. We asked to speak to a jet2 rep in the hotel but we were refused and told we weren't allowed to speak to her and if we managed too he wanted to talk to her first... So been treat like the dirt on his shoe we were sent on our way.. Later that day we were called and told we could move rooms so we changed rooms to find the room we were given was overlooking someone's house and all the rubbish down the side of the hotel the bathroom flooded every time we used the shower when we used the sink bubbles spouted out of the back. The carpet was rolled up in one corner of the room and the lock on the door was broken... When we complained we were told if you don't like it find another hotel. Every meal we tried to have was cold and undercooked they were serving raw chicken to the guests which can give you food poisoning complaining about this was no use as they didn't care the bar staff were rude and inconsiderate and didn't want to serve you unless they wanted to.. The pool area was never cleaned and full of crushed berries from the trees, this caused mounds of ants and other biting insects. The pool had a filthy scum line around the top and was never cleaned and to top our holiday off we both ended up with rashes from the filthy bedding... This holiday was a disgrace and a waste of our hard earned money the holiday was meant to be relaxing instead it was stressful and by far the worst holiday we have ever been on

Room Tip: Just don't stay here

Well were do I start? We arrived at the juniper 11pm and our room key was thrown at us and were told our room was on 1st floor, on getting in the room we found that our fob holder was hanging off the wall, towel rail and shower was the same, found out we had one of the better rooms the next day. Towels were not changed regularly, bedding wasnt changed in ova a week. Poo lhad scum line and poolside filthy. Staff rude apart from restaurant manager and food was ok if u liked soup or chicken and dont mind an upset stomach can honestly say the only things that made the holiday is the other holiday makers ( made some good friends) and the location, icmeler is lovely and if u want trips go and see ozzy hes brilliant and if u want decent food I wud recommend turkish delight the restaurant next to the hotel there r so nice
