just returned from a week at the juniper. the staff couldnt do enough for you and were very helpful and friendly. the cleaners were in regularly to clean and did a fantastic job. i wouldnt say the rooms were small unless you are going with a large party. the location is spot on not far from the beach. cant wait to go back next year and we are making arrangements to do so in the next couple of days. this time we are going for longer. cant wait !!!

We stayed at The Juniper Hotel for one week 16th to 23rd August all inclusive.. After reading the reviews we really didn't know what to expect on our arrival. We shouldn't have worried at all. Room was very clean - bit on the small side but for the amount of time you spend in there it wasn't a problem. Linen and towels changed regularly. You just walk across to the Siesta for your meals. Plenty of salad choices with everything - a bit limited on main courses but saying that it was fresh and hot. If we were staying for more than a week we would have eaten out on the second week. You can use both pools and bars which we found very clean. The hotel dog did have a swim in pool couple of times at night but this didn't bother us at all. Staff were very helpful and friendly at all times, couldn't do enough for you. For what we paid for this holiday we wouldn't hesitate in going back. Must just say that air conditioning is absolutely essential. Location was spot on, only a short walk to shops bars and the beach. We met some great people and had a fab holiday.

A good bet as this is a very decent hotel that you can reply on - excellent value for money.
Staff very helpful and very friendly, food reasonably decent, good location.
No overcrowding and queues, plenty of stuff to eat and drink, all inclusive from 8-11.
Rooms, bar and facilities very nice - aircon kept us cool and fridge looked after the beers and raki nicely!
We had an issue with the water supply that was fixed very quickly after reporting it.
The food wasn't cordon bleu as we expected, but we were pleasantly surprised as it was always tasty and decent. You can always take the odd trip out to restaurants very nearby if you wish. Also burger and chips laid one between 3-4pm if you fancy a snack between meals. There are always plain food laid on such as chips to eat if you are not adventurous.

I cannot understand why there are any bad reviews about this place, we did run into one grumbler at the hotel who should have been at the Ritz for what he expected.

Totally recommend this hotel.

When I read other reviews about this hotel I was a bit worried. I didn't need to worry. The hotel was very good. The food was not bland and tasteless and there was plenty of choice each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I suppose if all you eat is chips and burgers then it wont be suitable. The rooms were basic but ample for the price we paid. The staff were very friendly and could speak some English. The hotel is in a great situation and very close to the shops, beach etc.

This was our first time in Turkey and didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at the hotel location which was an ideal spot for everything you needed. Hotel was basic but we'd been warned that these hotels usually are in Turkey. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were small but clean, the air con was on when you were in the rooms and you could keep it on all night (as I needed to). The shower wasn't the best (water pressure not very good but adequate). There is a fridge which we paid for for the week and found that it didn't keep things too cool but then realised why, due to when you go out the electricity goes off. It wasn't a problem though. We didn't sit round the pool as some of the people there at the time were a bit loud and we did also find that the beds were taken pretty early in the day so if you went out for the day and came back later in the afternoon, you had no chance of getting a sun bed. Breakfasts were served over in the sister hotel across the road, they were basic and didn't cater very much for everyone after the first day we tended to go out and have breakfast somewhere else. We weren't full board so cannot comment on the meals or drinks as we didn't have any.

I have noticed some reviews have mentioned the dog that belongs to the hotel. Yes the dog did sometimes go in the pool on an evening when it was hot - I didn't bother much about this as I am an animal lover anyway and used to stop and fuss the dog when I saw it on my way back to the hotel on an evening. It didn't seem to bother many people but I can understand how some people may think it was rather disgusting letting the dog go in the pool.

All in all it is a very basic, clean hotel with friendly staff and the bed linen and towels are changed regularly (daily for towels). We never saw any of the cleaning staff so cannot comment on their work. We found everything ok and for the money we paid we found everything of a standard acceptable for the cost of the hotel. I would definately go back to the hotel again for its location and friendly staff.

1) The bald manager is a completely rude and arrogant individual who ruined my stay at the hotel.
2) Hotel staff do not speak english, this makes it extremely difficult to communicate even when just asking to use the phone!!
3) The food is always cold and bland. Everything is also served with chips.
4) The room cleaners STINK, leaving your room smelling of B.O (body odour).
5) My room did not even come with hand wash or shower gel.
6) In order to use the fridge in the room you must pay an additional 3TL per day, which also does not work unless the key is in the room.
7) The stray hotel dog drinks from the same glasses as you would be given and also enjoys coming for a swim in the pool with you. in my eyes this is disgusting.
8) You have to go to the sister hotel across the road in order to eat.

Although all these bad points the hotel is situated in a prime location close to the beach, bars and many restaurants. The bar staff at the hotel were very friendly and polite.
If you are using this hotel as a holiday hotel stay away however if u just plan to sleep there and spend minimal time in the hotel its location makes it ideal.
