Traveled 19-26 May with a friend. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. We stayed in room 1629 and it was lovely - within all the trees, with a pool and seaview. All in good condition and kept very clean for us. Food - lots of choice and all very well cooked. If you can't find something different to eat at every meal then the issue is with you, not what's on offer. It was lovely. Drink - great. Lots of choice again. The cocktails are a little dodgy, but worth a try at least once! Hotel facilities - lots of them. Didn't get bored once. The beach party nights are great. We went out regularly and the dolmus runs from the main road. Very easy & cheap to get to Icmeler and Marmaris and worth doing. Staff - 99% are great. Bit of a grumble about one woman on the bar directly outside reception who was incredibly rude, but other than that they were great. Worth particular mention are Musa on the night bar who looked after us impeccably & Ekram from the photography team, who was lovely. Winner though is Yunus from the photography team, who is so professional, but also such a kind and entertaining man. He's a huge asset to the hotel. We would visit again, just to see him.

The only thing I really didn't like was the use of the courtesy room on the last day. My friend has a bad back and I have only just recovered from a broken wrist so there was no way we could get our cases up 4 flights of stairs. One of the cleaning staff had to carry our cases for us and she looked exhausted. Repeat that by how many others were using the courtesy rooms and add that she was also cleaning the rooms between uses and I think she was getting a particularly rough deal. I didn't feel good about not being able to carry my own case and I hated seeing her struggle - come on Club Turban, play fair! Everything else was great, so don't let yourselves down with this.

To the staff - thanks for a great time, Vic & Deb x

Spent a week at this hotel from 10th-18th May and all in all it was a truly fantastic holiday. Me and my partner hadn't been away together before and wanted something quiet and of a high standard and we definitely got both. The food was excellent every night with the massive choice and variety and it was all cooked really well, the pools are really clean and family friendly (although the adult pool was a bit of a godsend when the children were at their loudest!!) and the service we received from all of the staff was brilliant.

Our room was really clean and spacious (we were told by our booking advisor that we should get a family room for next to no money extra which gave us 2 bathrooms and a lounge) and we had a balcony which was facing the sea which was lovely. Our towels were changed everyday and our bed was made each time and they also gave us new bottles of water everyday (although we didn't discover this until the last day!).

We also took advantage of the spa in the hotel one lazy afternoon and really glad we did as the prices were reasonable and we received excellent service. The evening entertainment was also really good and we saw some awesome shows while we were there.

Overall I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday in truly beautiful surroundings. We couldn't fault it at all and any issues we had actually were caused by our rep and nothing to do with the hotel or its staff. Will definitely book this hotel again if we return to Marmaris.

Stayed here for 2wks fantastic setting for this hotel, rooms were nice and clean, but bit of a hike to get to if your not staying in the main block its all up hill, the surroundings are fantastic, pool was a little on the cold side but that will prob heat up a bit as the season goes on,all the bars are fine to ,the staff in the bars are great tips help a lot here it gets them to remember you the next time.Staff in the resteraunts are helpful to,but you never got the same person as they kept moving stations.Disapointment was the food not very much variety same thing cooked a different way alright if you like chicken & fish.Another disapointing thing is if it rains there is no cover for beach bar were the entertainment is and toilets not enough of other than that nice hotel not spectacular ,Al a carte not worth going to not all its cracked up to be.

We stayed here in mid May after reading positive review on here and Thompson. However there were some people who rated the hotel badly and these reviews niggled in the back of my mind.. when we dropped people off to their hotels i was increasingly anxious as some of the hotels were not very nice, even one of the 5* hotels did not look very nice! But as soon as you roll onto the driveway all fears were gone. The hotel looks amazing, set in a wooded area with lots of greenery around it looked incredible. The service was to match also, our bags were taken and delivered, check in (and out) very swift and easy.

We were put on the first floor right by the slides in room 1121, not a great place in comparison to others but we were content. The rooms were large, there was 2 sections, one with the main bed and one bathroom with a small seating area, then the other area with another bathroom (handy if your going with your wife/girlfriend!) we used this as a changing area, very handy! The rooms were kept clean and were pleasant to stay in. My only problem was the sound of the next room could be heard very easily along with the toilets being flushed. This troubled us for the first 2 nights until we realised if you shut the bathroom door then you cannot hear a thing. Problem solved! We also had a problem with our phone going off randomly, but the technician came along and sorted it on the same day.

The food at the hotel was somoe of the best buffet style food ive ever had at a hotel. I am a particulaqrly fussy eater but there was more than enough variety to cover my fussy eating habbits. they have salads and hot dishhes all on buffet style serving dishes in the middle, then they have a stone oven for pizzas and garlic breads in the back corner. then there are the grills where they serve fish, steaks, burgers meatballs, pastas and even donner kebabs some nights. Also the snack bar that serves food from 12-2 was very handy, that serves burgers and chips etc.

The pool areas were really nice too, we mainly went to the main pool, but there is a very secluded adults only pool, but it was too shady there for us. There were pool games being played all the time with the very good animation staff there. However for this reason we went to the beach one day, and never came back. The beach itself is not that great, but the two jetties they have going out to the sea are brilliant. you get a much nicer breeze that you do not get at the pool because of the trees, and with the boats going past there is always something going on, whether it be watching the dolphins in the park next door, or watching the boats or the fish in the sea. this was my favourite part of the hotel. There was also a water sports area at the end of the pier, fairly expensive but very good also.

The nightlife we did not really do in marmaris, we went for a relaxing 10 days away, but the nightlife in the hotel was decent, they have a show every night at the ampitheatre, which for the most part was pretty good. after that we found not a lot more to do though...

All in all the hotel was lovley and if you are looking for a relaxing week or two away then this is a great hotel to stay at!

We returned from Club Turban on 18th May and I've got to say it was just amazing! there is a review further down on here from someone in room 1117 - we actually got put in that room and we asked to be moved as we had a pushchair and a 7 year old so our apologies to you whoever you may be ;0) we ended up in the main block which was good as it is close to everything but to be honest I'd have preferred one of the villas to the main block as we were right outside the lift and could hear a lot of noise from the corridors - not enough to stop us sleeping though as there's so much to do through the day for everyone we all slept great!

I have never been in a hotel that was so well thought out in the layout of pools and bars. the main pool is the same depth right through so I wasn't worried about my boy going too far into the deep end as there isn't one as such. it's 150 all the way. the baby splash pool is surrounded by trees so all shaded which is great and the toddler pool and kids clubs are also shaded. the slide pool is out of the way and only open twice a day for 2 hours a time so the kids get to have their play but the adults don't have to sit there all day! we didn't visit the adult only pool as we had our kiddies with us but from all accounts it is exactly what is says on the tin and rather like a wet library! good if you like the peace and quite though :0) we also only used the spa when it rained for an hour or so when we went into the turkish bath - beware - warn children that the water is menthol and not to wash their faces in it! ;0) looked lovely though and staff were very friendly.

on top of all of the pools there is the private beach with a pebble beach and lots of space on the jetties for sunbathing. you dont even need to take your own beach towels to this hotel as they're all provided as well if you want them. some of the activities are included in the price if you go all inclusive like the peddalos and kids clubs but even the other activities aren't too much money and well worth it just to get out into the beautiful bay and see the scenery.

the food was great and even my son who is the fussiest eater always found something he would eat for every meal. towards the end of our holiday we noticed a lot of people arriving and it did get pretty busy sometimes but it is so big it's never long to queue for anything and they have duplicate areas so if you find a big queue in one area walk around and you're chance to find the same thing without such a big wait.

the entertainment team were fab. Efe and Borat - I mean Murat ;0) were great fun and not too 'in-your-face' but still made their presence known and I think if they knew you were up for a laugh they'd make more effort rather than the people who didn't want a fuss.

All in all it was an amazing place and hotel and I don't think I've stopped telling people about it since I came back!

Back early hours of this morning from a weeks stay at Club Turban and absolutely loved it!

We were in room 1144 in main hotel and were extremely pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. The hotel is on a big complex with a number of different bars to keep things varied and the availability and choice of food is good. Our 17 month old daughter did tend to eat the same things all week but that is partly down to fusiness.

The beach for Club Turban was by far one of the nicest and areas were decked too. We walked the coastline from Marmaris to Iscmeler during our stay (trying to get baby to sleep) and by far Club Turban was one of if not the best! Marmaris itself is a bit shabby but the hotel is a good 15 min walk from the centre which is a good thing in our opinion.

The entertainment staff for the children were good and the photographer Ekrem was lovely and we did purchase a number of prints which were good value, a lot cheaper than they would be in England, and he also put them on a disc at no extra cost (so our families can have copies) - (hi Ekrem if u read this!!! xx)

The weather was in the late 20s all week except one day which was a little rainy and overcast but did brighten up in the afternoon. It was ideal weather for us with a small baby.

The transfer from Dalaman was ok despite being 1hr 45 mins but we did feel they didnt really need to do the half way stop off as this just seemed to prolong it!

Overall we would highly rate this hotel and are thinking of going back in September!!

Claire

stayed at club turban in early may 2012, friendly hotel, great location. Tour operator Thomson always on site, booked few trips through tour operator, jeep safari highly recommend. Pamukalee lovely once you're there but omg nightmare journey took 4-5 hours on a bus to get there. We left hotel at 06.10 am and returned at 20.00, only having 2 1/4 hours at pamukalee. They don't give you any of this information at welcome meeting so beware when you book.
entertainment very good and food was great plenty of it and even good for fussy eaters.
Maid service daily. Would highly recommend, thinking of booking to return next year.
